Great time
Had a great time and it was challenging and time .
Poor Conditions
I’ve played Greendale several times over the years, but today was the worst conditions I’ve experienced at a course. Every green was burnt out / had more dirt spots than grass. My playing partners mentioned that the course recently changed greens keepers so I am hoping that, plus better weather helps to get the course conditions back on track. Until then, I’ll be avoiding Greendale.
Last time for awhile
I don't usually write reviews, but after paying $52, I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, the course was in terrible shape—from the tee boxes to the fairways and greens. It looked as though maintenance had been severely neglected. Honestly, they might as well let people drive carts all over the course, given its current condition. The lack of care and the steep price increase are major reasons I won't be returning anytime soon. I hope this feedback encourages some much-needed improvements. They need to be charging no more than $30
Greens are toast
Still the worst course in the area. Greens were in terrible shape. You don’t expect a lot for a mini but some are just dirt and you’re still charged $49 just to walk. Outrageous price for the course and the conditions there. Stay away at all costs.
Ouch!
This course has truly gone downhill since last year and conditions are so very, very poor. I suggest you pass this year or only play the back nine which, while still not great, is in far better condition that the front.
Greendale golf Course
Nice course, with good fairways but greens need a lot of work.
Greens are burnt out!
The greens are almost completely burnt out and they did not give a discount as most courses do when the greens are in this type of condition. I consistently play different Courses in the DMV and by far these are the worst greens I’ve seen all year. It’s like trying to putt on the surface of the Moon. I spoke with one of the staff members afterwards and it’s pretty obvious they think there’s nothing they can do to improve the greens due to the heat. The grounds crew needs to get some training from some of the other courses in the area on how they keep their Greens in better condition despite the recent heat waves that have hit the DMV this summer.
Needs work
Course fairways are very dry. Majority of the Greens are fast and need to be re worded.
