Members Course Nestled into City
Played the course during a scramble fundraiser. Course was in great condition for early June....like, remarkably good shape....like, do members even play the course shape.
The routing is nice and ambles over a small piece of property. Would be a great course to walk on a regular basis. Green to tee transitions are mostly short, with a few "challenging" hills to climb. Clearly designed when a good drives were closer to 200 yards, the course isn't overly long but what it lacks in length it requires in precision. If you can bit off doglegs there are many holes that leave flip wedges from inside 100 yards.
Would enjoy returning and spending another day on this course.
