Somerset Farms Golf Course

It's hard to judge any course on a holiday, and Father's Day is a pretty busy one for any course. In this case, they ran out of carts, which compressed the early afternoon tee times and caused a log jam of golfers. The experience was overly crowded and less fun than it could have been. Rolling hills were interesting, but given our inexperience with course and crowd level, was constantly worried about blind shots over the hill. Course layout contributed to that, with several holes crossing one another on the front nine. Greens were exceptionally fast... Someone likened it to putting on the cart path. Views of the valley were beautiful and hills were challenging. Would love to try this again on a day where crowds were less or cart availability was better.

Nice course, layout is good…. There are some challenging holes and a few “unforgiving” narrow fairways which made the course fun! Par 3’s play longer than measured distance…. Must be extra careful on the cart paths-follow the caution signs! I’m looking forward to my next visits!!

Good price for a round, but the fairways and greens needs some lawn maintenance.

I know it’s early in the season but the course could use some work. The greens were in ok shape but the fairways are rough. Bald patches, weedy, and sparse. The lay out is unique. Drove past at least 2 tee boxes because the boxes were not near the signs. The signs did tell you which hole and the yardage but not what par was. Kind of strange. Sand traps were thin and hard packed. Cart paths are pit hole riddled and crumbling. Made for a very rough ride. I know it’s under new management so time will tell.

Course is in great shape for my play.

Had a blast just hitting the ball with the weather like it was coarse was wet from previous snow & rain but overall it was good

I played on the nicest day in February on Presidents Day. Considering the time of year, the course was in excellent condition. My only knock is that 1 guy was the entire staff and the grill wasn’t open and there were no Cart concessions. He was working really hard, I just wish he had help.

Very hill course with wild greens. Course conditions can be spotty. Course was very challenging and a ton of fun to play.
