Island Green/Longest Hole at Meadows Farms Golf Course

Seen this course when scrolling on Facebook. I told my wife that I want to go and play this course. Well a little sooner than I expected but we made it there and was not disappointed. We are planning a trip next spring so we can play all 27 holes. Wish I lived closer so I could play it more. They have a great thing going here and any golfer that has not played here should definitely give it a try.

This is just a country course. Nothing wrong with that but they charge you like it’s a top tier facility. Large bucket is 20$ and they don’t even fill it up. 80$ a round. Weeds in the fairways and greens. Greens are uneven slow and don’t look rolled with bare spots. You can’t chip on the putting green. Just a shame what’s happened to this course since new ownership took over

Fun course to play, holes are a hoot. no cart services available. A bit too casual in terms of dress code, professional staff and overall amenities. Still a good course to play every now and again. Just lower your expectations and you'll have a great time.

I had a great 4-hour round on a Friday midday. The greens hold a ball, and most are in great condition. Some tee boxes need work, and the bunkers seemed fine. The course is fairly open, so you will be fine if you spray the ball and can scramble. The starter is very professional, and the course marshall keeps the play moving.
