Great little track
Okay, obviously this place isn’t Inverness or Sylvania CC, but it’s a fun course. Especially for being in the middle of the city, it’s great value for the money. Only problem is that because it’s a short course, you could get stuck behind newbies who don’t understand pace of play or letting people play through. The traps aren’t in great shape, but if you just stay out of them you’ll be okay.
Ottawa Park Golf Course
I try to play this course once a year just to see if the conditions of the course have improved since this is the oldest course in Toledo built around 1922 when the back 9 was added on .... the course staff was very friendly how ever due to all the rain that we got Saturday night the traps were hard and chunky .... the greens were a bit slow but receptive to approach shots and a couple of greens had some burn out spots .... you need to keep your tee shots in the fairway because this course has a lot of trees

Great layout but City owned
A great and challenging short course. The design is fantastic. The city owns the course and does the bare minimum. Tees are fine. Fairway are good with some spots of bare area. The rough is spotty at best. The greens are inconsistent and have damaged areas. The bunkers are slimier unplayable.
It is too bad that this course does not get the resources it needs. It has always been a favorite to play but conditions make you so sad that this gem is under resourced.

Great Course - No Food
First time playing Ottawa Park course was wonderful greens are great cool old school layout. It a bit short but still offers enough of a challenge.
The clubhouse let a lot to be desired. I couldn't but golf balls because they didn't have any stock of anything. The concession stand wasn't able to even serve a hot dog and ran out of miller lite. Girl behind the counter was nice but said that they have been out of hot dogs for 'a while'.
...I'm shocked at how the clubhouse could be so bare of things to buy.
Terrible pace of play
I went as a single and they allowed a 8 person group go together that wasn't letting anyone through along with the group of 4 that were behind them. I skipped 3 holes to get back on track and ahead of them and then ran into another group of 3 older gentlemen that wouldn't let me pass even when I was waiting on them.
