Sneaky Course with fast greens
My first time playing here. Played from the tips. Grass was thick in the fairways.
Tee Time
The got me on the course, but gave my tee time away. Then they told me they called my name…that was a lie. Great Course though, just stand next to them until they call you.

Still nice in the winter months
There were several temporary tees. Two par 4's played like par 3's. Some bunker maintenance in progress making them ground under repair. The greens were in prime season condition. The wind made it tougher and cold.

The course
Another great round at an extremely well kept course!!! I just LOVE this course, the staff has always been polite and accommodating to my requests and pleas for assistance. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this course and to take in the beauty of the surroundings…. We had a frost delay and we’re about an hour behind with my reserved tee time, however, the staff did a great job at getting the day going and they were patient while dealing with a hectic start to the day. GREAT staff, beautiful course, and paired with another nice twosome for a fun round. Thank you to the staff at Blue Hills for ALL you do to maintain the course and provide good customer service!!!

That time of year.
Love this course but would probably have avoided it for next couple weeks due to winter overseeding in the fairways. Carts weren,t allowed in fairways so it was pretty much like playing cart path only golf. Greens were in good shape and putted good. Like the aeration process, it's just one of those things that you have to contend with a couple of times a year in order to play a nice course. Management does a very good job on that course. Will be back in a couple weeks.

Beautiful
First time playing this course. Great course layout and both tee boxes and greens were exceptional! Pace of play for that day and time was excellent. We were only gonna play just 9 holes but we finished in about 1hour and 30 mins. We finished 18 in about e hours and 20 min. We were not rushed at all We had such a great time. We love it and will be back.

Very scenic in very good condition. Lot of rough but we managed. Definitely play when in Roanoke
