Cypress Creek Golfers' Club
About
Cypress Creek Golfers' Club was carefully carved from the mature hardwood forests and centuries old peanut fields of Smithfield. The peacefully secluded setting is the ideal environment for a round of golf and the challenging design will have you using every club in your bag. The golf course will reward creative shot-making and thoughtful strategy but it is not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The rolling terrain provides plenty of challenging ups and downs throughout and there are many water holes, including the memorable ninth, a short par 4 with an island green. Cypress Creek Golfers' Club even has its own "amen corner" that starts with the par-4 15th, moves on to the waterlogged 16th, and finishes with another par 4, an uphill hole that is the toughest of the trio.

End of Summer
Got out early and played 18 in three hours and forty minutes. Course is a great layout, fairways and tree boxes are great. The greens were punched and sanded with some burnout areas. Overall a good experience.
Course in good condition
Greens need a little bit of work but overall not bad at all for this time of year.
Best kept secret
I think this course is the best kept secret in this area.

local favorite
I play here regularly because the pace of play is excellent the golf course is always in very good conditions and the staff is friendly and helpful. The owner is nearly always there and will Make it a point To try and give you the best Experience whether it's for the round or for a tournament.
Getting back in shape
The course is coming into good shape. The greens are doing much better than I remember from last time I played this course.
And as always the folks taking care of this course were good, friendly people.
Thank you to Abby for making many trips around the course with the beverage cart on a hot day.
Course Conditions Improving
Front 9 fairways and tee boxes getting better. Rain & TLC will help. Greens holding up well. Back 9 in better shape than back 9. Great architecture and design. New owners committed to improving course conditions and appearance. Need more irrigation and rain.
Need to go
Course was in good condition and the Back nine is à reel challenge
