Red Wing Lake Golf Course

Red Wing is one of the better courses in Virginia Beach. Fairways were pretty short in some areas, and not as great as some of the other courses in the area that are around the same money. Greens were great and areas around the green were solid as well. I will say hole 3 did have some terrible water "mini lakes" in the fairway which did end up taking a few of my partners balls on drivers as they were pretty deep and too large to fish out of. Course is wide open and is great to hit driver with some holes with risk/reward tee boxes on multiple holes. Good driving range, has chipping area with practice bunker and large putting green for those looking for a training facility as well as a golf course. Overall a 4/5 for me. Above average, but fairways need some work. Better than most in the area.

Was very disappointed in the condition of the course. The fairways didn't have much grass and the greens were sandy and bumby. I expected more for the price. I am a local and could have played at least 10 other courses for a similar price that are in better shape.

The course was really wet because of all the recent rain, but it is a great layout and a blast to play.

Red Wing is one of the best golf courses in the Virginia Beach area. Very long (pro-level distance) and challenging. You can scramble on this course, which is important to my game and also fun.

Really a good, fun, engaging course to play. The par 5s are long, long, long (550+ yards).

I played this course in mid February after a few weeks of heavy rain. The course doesn’t really drain well so it was cartpath only. Overall course was in good shape and the greens were in fair condition. Somewhat challenging with water and sand traps throughout

Knowledgeable and helpful. I’m playing as a single and he paired me up with two other players to improve pace of play.

Course greens in very nice shape. Practice Putting Green is excellent.

4.25 hours for 18 holes

Do not get many 75 degree days in middle of January. Had rain shower night before but rain was suppose to hold off for morning round. Got unbielvable price for this course on a Sunday. Booked a 830 time. When arrived the parking lot and course was deserted. Course nice shape for winter. Greens smooth and fast. Plays easier without leaves on trees. Had a nice round.

Conditions were decent for the time of year. Happy carts were in the fairway despite it being wet. Course does not drain well but still made for a decent experience. Love the layout

First time playing the course, thoroughly enjoyed it! Greens are in superb shape for the time of year as r the fairways and traps. It's a challenging track that keeps you on ur toes.

Staff very friendly and helpful, very nice course layout and in great condition, greens were awesome.

The course was in great shape for the time of season, the pace was relatively quick. But at the the turn, everything went wrong. We were served luke warm and 1 cold hot dog. I mean straight out of the fridge cold. No attempt was made to heat this one up. Even the ones she did attempt to heat up on the grill were over par (golf pun).

Greens and fairways in great shape! Always love playing this course.
