Red Wing Lake Golf Course

Do not get many 75 degree days in middle of January. Had rain shower night before but rain was suppose to hold off for morning round. Got unbielvable price for this course on a Sunday. Booked a 830 time. When arrived the parking lot and course was deserted. Course nice shape for winter. Greens smooth and fast. Plays easier without leaves on trees. Had a nice round.

Conditions were decent for the time of year. Happy carts were in the fairway despite it being wet. Course does not drain well but still made for a decent experience. Love the layout

First time playing the course, thoroughly enjoyed it! Greens are in superb shape for the time of year as r the fairways and traps. It's a challenging track that keeps you on ur toes.

The course was in good shape and the greens were fast.

Staff very friendly and helpful, very nice course layout and in great condition, greens were awesome.

The course was in great shape for the time of season, the pace was relatively quick. But at the the turn, everything went wrong. We were served luke warm and 1 cold hot dog. I mean straight out of the fridge cold. No attempt was made to heat this one up. Even the ones she did attempt to heat up on the grill were over par (golf pun).

Greens and fairways in great shape! Always love playing this course.

Played with my wife while in Va Beach. Nice layout, good conditions, great pace of play. Enough of a challenge for most golfers. Minutes from the beach.

I had a very enjoyable time on this course. It was in great shape. Greens rolled well and rough was cut which made it easy to find errant shots. This is a course I will play again.

Beautiful course, great value. Greens were a little rough from people not fixing their ball marks. But overall a great course. Played all three days of my Virginia Beach visit.

Worse round of golf ever. Guys in clubhouse we’re flat out rude and disrespectful. Charged $20 for someone to ride along, I don’t mind a riding fee but $20 is way high. Especially when your told your playing in a 4some with a group of 2 and another single, so of course you’d need an extra cart, but the other single never shows. The starter gave no cares of what was going on, sending group after group off no matter what the group before was doing and just backing the course up more and more. Waited 10mins between every shot and the Marshall never said anything to the groups that were playing slow, taking 10mins to look for a ball in the woods or near water or people taking 15 hacks at the ball to move it 5 yards then pick it up and throw it and acted like they holed out at Augusta.instead he complained to the group that sat on the tee box for 15 mins watching this go on and finally hit their driver well over that group opposite side from them. Common curtesy would be let them play thru correct? Not here, if your not a local or member don’t waste your time. Will never play here again

If you just want a nice place to play this is fine. Condition was not great but could be due to it being later in the season. It was a good value and not busy. Played with a nice canadian couple and enjoyed the driving range

Played one week after Hurrican Dorrian, hence the poor condition rating
