Kempsville Greens Golf Course

Had a great time , loved the course , nice green complexes, fairways where in nice shape

Putted that par 3 off the tee will be doing it from now on 😎😩😩😩😩😩

This was my first time playing at Kempsville.. Staff was Great , very friendly and helpful with any questions.

Course and Greens are maintained well and carts have electronic scoring..

The the practice chip and putting greens, clubhouse are fabulous…

The driving range needs some work (kinda run down).

Overall a Great Value and Funn Course to play..

Plenty of tee time during July - even great rates on Tee off or GolfNow. Plenty of tee time, less people playing which translates to great pace of play. Pace didn’t come into problem until the last hole, where this one dude hit 5 repeated shots on approach from fairway - each time going back to his cart to get a ball!! Really?!?!

Course is not very demanding and most are straight with few dog legs here and there - some with water in either side of the leg.

Errant shots can cause you to lose some balls but you can recover decently afterwards on mis-hits.

I hadn’t played this course in a couple years. I live in California and visit my grandkids multiple times a year. This time my grandson and I played and it was definitely in rough shape. I can say they were diligently working on the course where trees had come down.

The fairways and greens were rough but the sand traps were ifairly good in places.

It seemed clear that they were working hard to return this course to the condition I remember it to have been in the last time I played it.

The course layout is fun and there are definitely some challenging holes.

I looking forward to checking it out down the road.

I played KG a lot in the past few years. There have been a few improvements but some of the greens have barely or patched spots. I am sure with some serious rain, the course will recover.

Visiting from Canada and was looking not to spend a lot of money on golfing. So this was my pick. A nice friendly environment!!
