Great course
Played the Blue Heron for the first time, conditions were great. Greens were firm and fast but fair. Fairways were great as well...when I hit them..lol

Always a great time, staff is awesome, minor issues
Had trouble with range ball number at practice area but another kind old gentleman golfer paid for us. Found my range finder on range and saved it. Greens were aerated and top dressed so a bit bumpy. Still very receptive and true. No cart girl but water all over the course and no food at turn far from clubhouse. Two guys in front of us were slow and struggling. Still the best deal , course conditions in the area .

Deluge on the 9th
Good practice facility though chipping green aerated and sanded. Range balls are pricey. Played Blue Heron. We had not played this 18 for awhile. Excellent condition except golfers still not fixing their ballmarks. 4some ahead of us were very slow. We were caught by another 2some around the 7th hole. Rumblings all around us caught us at 9th. Finished the par 5 and sheltered between 9 and 10 to wait it out. Over an hour later still raining. Called the course to see if course would be closed and they said we could play. Surprised at that since it was pretty much unplayable fairways and greens. 25 min ride back to clubhouse, two great young men took care of our clubs and we headed out. It was still raining when we left. Would usually go into restaurant/bar but had other plans. 9 hole rain check

Course was in average condition, aeration holes were evident on all greens, pace of play was average; 4 hours to complete 18 holes.

Once we got on the course it waa excellent but we had a hard time finding the golf shop on arrival. We also had difficulty finding the cart return.

Nice course
Enjoyed the round. Course was in good shape with exception of some bunkers which staff informed prior to teeing off. Greens were in great shape and nice layout and challenging but fair. Only issue was no food on premises. Guess the restaurant closed on Mondays. Recommend have something in a cooler at Pro Shop as we played 36 and needed food. Overall excellent and will return next trip to Williamsburg.

Great day as always
Greens, tee boxes and fairways all in great shape. Staff is friendly, attentive and they don't put too many people on the course. Pace of play was great most of the day but slowed down a little on the back. No one behind us all day which was a pleasure. Only area for improvement could be a few bunkers need some fresh sand. Weather was great . Plenty of water on the course for drinking and a friendly cart girl too.
