About
Located less than an hour from Seattle in Lakewood, Oakbrook Golf Club is one of the area's hidden gems. Opened in 1966 as a private club, the course opened its doors to the public in 2012. The course is known for its smooth, firm, and fast greens. The 6,700-yard layout plays both narrow and long but it is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. With hundreds of mature oak trees scattered throughout the course, accuracy is key. It's a course that rewards strategy rather than raw skill. One of Oakbrook Golf Club's toughest holes is the par-4 seventh, which you'll have to play from below since it's sloped steeply from top to bottom. The downhill shots and doglegs will put golfers of any skill level to the test.

My and my buddies were looking for a new course to check out in South Sound area. We stumbled upon Oak Brook. Super pleased we did. Well manicured course, challenging layouts, and very solid greens.
Staff was super friendly and pace of play was great. 3 of us played 18, in 3 hr 50 mins.
Would recommend and will definitely be playing it again.
First timer
Fairways and greens very well maintained. Staff very friendly. Lived the course and very walkable.
Great course
First time playing Oakbrook but it won't be the last. Very friendly staff. Course was in excellant condition. Very reasonable price.Pace of play was good. I have zero complaints.
Staff were not in pro shop, waited at least 5mins before another patron ahead of me went out to find an attendant. Otherwise the course was great.
Course is in good shape and not too crowded. Will play again.
Great staff great course made for a great day of golf
The fairways were in great shape and the greens were immaculate. The pro shop and restaurant staff were friendly and engaging. My first time playing the course took just over 4 hrs even with occasional waiting on the foursome in front of us.
Lunch at the clubhouse was equally good. I highly recommend it.
Oakbrook GC is in great condition
My two golf buddies had never played Oakbrook, so I arranged a day & time we all could play. The course is always in great condition, and is a very challenging course to play.
They loved it and we all agreed to put it in our rotation.
Great course
Really nice course, great pace of play. Challenging but not frustrating.
Nice conditions
The fairways were all green and the course was in really nice shape
