Bass Lake Golf Course
About
Bass Lake Golf Course boasts some of the finest golf in the Northwoods. Carefully carved from mature forests of oak and pine trees, the course is abundant with native wildlife. The course dates back to 1926 but it underwent a major renovation in 2003 that made certain aspects more challenging, while also making it more playable for a wider range of skill levels. The layout is much like playing two golf courses in one with a front nine that is tightly lined with trees and a hillier back nine that wraps around a large lake. There are also a few small ponds that come into play on the front nine. The rolling terrain guarantees uneven lies as well as the occasional blind shot. Accuracy will also be needed in order to avoid the strategically placed sand traps, mature trees, and thick rough.

Bass Lake
Great track! Offers a lot of variety of different holes. Definitely makes you think about hitting driver off every par 4. Course was in immaculate condition from tee to greens. Would definitely play here again! Pro was super friendly and staff was great. Hidden gem.
Best Course in Northern Wisconsin
Bass Lake is my absolute favorite golf course, and I’ve played a lot of nice courses. Its conditioning is fabulous. The greens are fast and pure. It is cut out of the rolling hills of north central Wisconsin. The layout is spectacular and the greens, which are very large have a lot of slope. It’s not easy to 2 putt these greens. Wonderful sand traps. Great staff and food. Great practice facility. It’s reasonably priced and, overall, a wonderful facility. Different tees challenge all levels of golfers. If you break 80 here, it’s an achievement.
Great course
I normally end up on this course twice a year. Always well maintained and good layout.
Great course for the area
Excellent condition for northern Wisconsin, very well kept up
2nd time playing
Course conditions were very good, greens hold and very well kept. Staff all around is great! Only one complaint… before booking, make certain you’re not playing behind a resident senior group that plays there. They don’t care and will not let you play through. Average 10 minute wait per hole playing behind them! Almost a 6 hour round for 18!! Not good!

Very nice layout, challenging course. Played behind league, so s little slow, but enjoyed the round nonetheless.
Bass Lake
Incredible course close to Antigo. A must-play if you are in the area.
Fabulous course in the North woods
Amazing course and if you up in the area a must play.
Bass Lake GC is a gem
Great layout, great condition, multiple tees for all skill levels, friendly staff, and reasonable rates. I recommend it if you’re in the area.
