Golfer Reviews
Always delivers an experience
I play the Club at Copper valley every summer, some people can't handle the heat so it makes for a 3.5 hour afternoon round.
There is a slight fungus or growth in most of the greens but not enough to cause bumpiness. They also put. lot of water on the course overnight so you get a few soggy places in the fairway with an occasional plugged drive. Apart from that perfect as always..
Great place to play
What an awesome course. We went out and were paired with two members(Dave and Mike). They were outstanding playing partners and ambassadors of the club. The course was outstanding and except for a couple spots it was over watered was in great condition. Greens were firm and interesting resulting in challenging play. Pace was outstanding and Copper Valley is now on my list of best places in the Valley.
Good course, bad service
Course was beautiful and in excellent condition. Would say it was a steal at $100 but the amenities were horrible. Tried to order food at the turn and they said they don’t do to-go orders. So then we tried to order at the restaurant and they said they were reservations only and completely booked. Crazy that they won’t sell food to golfers (and this was at like 1pm). And they wouldn’t even sell us a beer! Then we finished our round around 3pm and wanted to play another nine, but the pro shop was already closed. Was just weird
AMAZING
Best course I have ever played. Worth every penny. Very challenging off the tee. I will be back.
The course layout is awesome..
One of the best courses and always in great shape. A jewel.
Worth trying Copper Valley as known as Saddle Creek
Tried this course out when it was phasing our from Saddle Creek to Copper Valley. Course is a bit harder than It’s neighboring Greenhorn. Condition was okay. Staff were friendly but didn’t get much drinks from the beverage cart or lack of. Value is there but would prefer somewhere else
Great course
One of my favorite courses to play. Interesting layout and challenging yet also beginner friendly. Just added gps to their carts and already had a club head cleaner, ball cleaner and small ice chest. Nice amenities and driving range also. Would recommend to any and all, and will be back.
Amazing golf
They just switched the front 9 to the back (I believe) so there was a lot of sogginess but I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Carts are plush with Bluetooth capability and touchscreens for electronic card s if you like. Screen also displays the course, This course provided ice cold towels and ice water at nearly every other hole The martial actually came and found me in the parking lot because I couldn’t find the first hole and was lost in the parking lot. Only complaints are: the pace of play was painful and the fact that when we finished our 18 holes (after 5pm) we were STARVING! and the restaurant was closed for a private party
Great Day Of Golf
What a great place. It has everything you want 130yd par 3, 200yd par 3. Long par 4 & short par 4. Water on some holes. Bring every part of your game. This place is one super fun day of golf.
Love Saddle Creek
The course is in excellent condition. The greens and fairways are in better condition than several other courses we’ve played lately. The immediate rough is manicured very short and tight. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Golf Cart is very nice with an attached ice chest and the most comfortable plush seat in NorCal bar-none!
Thanks for the great round Saddle Creek!
Wonderful early Mother’s Day treat!
A hidden gem
I have come to learn that a majority of the time when an out of the way drive is required to reach a golf course, the course is going to be worth the drive. This was the case at Saddle Creek.
The course is a real hidden gem. Layout was well thought out. No two holes play together.
The fairways are immaculate and very forgiving.
Loved the course, and will definitely play when I am in the area again
Worth the Drive
Does not matter which route to get there it was a very scenic drive...The course is fun to play with elevation changes just enough to keep you thinking. We could play this every week!
Beautiful course. Excellent layout. Well kept fairways.
Friendly staff. Excellent golf carts. Course was well maintained with great fairways. I’m sure the greens are spectacular based on their shapes and undulations but unfortunately we played after they had aerated the greens.
First Time
First time playing and had a great time. I would play here anytime. Challanging but fair.
Nice course!
Saddle Creek is a fun course. It has a nice variety of holes. Lots of tee choices including combo tees with ratings. It was very windy which made it really challenging. We'll definitely be back!
