Glacier Wood Golf Club
About
Glacier Wood Golf Club has a unique landscape that was carved by ice and earth. The scenic course sprawls across diverse terrain that combines open, grassy meadows, with mature forests and marshland. Sweeping elevation changes and glacial rocks that frame the course provide stunning views from tee to green. The more open holes have a spacious feel while the wooded ones are invitingly secluded. Golfers will have numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with as well as many water hazards. The par-3 12th hole is the course's signature. This stunning hole incorporates dramatic elevation changes, forest, and wetlands for a challenge that you won't soon forget. The 15th is another hole that is as equally memorable, a u-shaped par 5 that is a double dogleg with a steeply sloped green.

Course was in great shape. Expected it to be wet after all the rain this spring. Greens were quick, but somewhat variable in speed and firmness. Very friendly staff, will definitely play again.
The reviews are true!
Completely blew me and my buddy away ! All I can say is, I don't care where you live. You need to play here. Course is challenging yet sometimes forgiving as long as you use your head. One of the most beautiful courses I've ever played. Well cared for, great staff, awesome food, I can't say enough. This is going to be an annual trip for us for sure.
Always good time
For late in the season the course was well kept. The leaves were pushed into the woods adequately. The sand traps were covered with deer tracks as usual. Good time
Great Time
Course is in excellent shape. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always enjoy playing here.
Awesome!
One of best courses I've ever played! Great layout, great condition, wildlife all over! On top of all that, the value through Golf Now made this a day of golf I can't wait to replicate!
Beautiful and challenging
Lots of rain the previous 24 hours, so there were some really wet areas. But it's a beautiful course as well as challenging. Wind was also a big factor due to the rainy weather. obviously not the fault of the course. highly recommend it. Take your camera. Lots of wildlife to be seen as well !
Glacier Wood
Dramatic landscape / layout
NICE COURSE
COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE
Course
Great course but the only issue I had was when we were done the Golf coordinator time guy said he received phone calls because of us. I don't think there was one call. The course was busy all day and we were waiting our self a little bit every hole also. Wasn't a fan of his.
Fun Layout.
Fun course to play. Lots of variation in holes some trouble for the errant shots but well work the money. Played all 18 and the back 9 is the most interesting. Playing from the back tees would be quite a challenge for the better golfer but I played from the whites. Course was a little dry and greens hard and fast. Really nice people and good food in the dining area. Well worth the drive and cost. Thanks!
Hidden Gem
One of the best courses in the area, probably the state. Beautiful course, friendly staff and a great value.
great value/course
Mark and Andy and Pro Shop were tremendous. Pleasure to deal with will be back again soon to play.
Great staff and amazing course
Great course. Friendly staff and amazing prices. Always a course I love to come back to. I would recommend this course to all my friends and anyone looking to golf in the area. This was the course I spent most of my summer at last year and can not wait to get back out there mroe this year. Also the iron grill food is amazing if you have time to eat there.
Great Fall Golf
The course is in great for fall golf.................
Won't Find A Better Deal
By far my favorite course and the most value for the money. The course is always in fantastic shape and the wildlife scenery cannot be beat. The people behind the desk in the Pro Shop are friendly time and time again. The upgrades to the restaurant make the course even more appealing as the food is perfect for a post-round lunch/dinner.
September 12
Excellent course.. The course has some unique holes. #12 a elevated par 3 is great.
The course has a lot of woods and wildlife.
We saw several deer, wild turkeys, and foxes. Glacier boulders make a perfect home for the family of foxes. If your ball gets close to the den, don't be surprised if the fox takes your ball.
Great course!!
GREAT COURSE
If you play this course and you're a fairly short hitter, you should play from the white tees. I have played the course from the green tees and the white. White is more enjoyable for the average golfer I would say. THE STAFF IS GREAT. You won't meet friendlier people anywhere.
Great golf course but checking in was frustrating
Great golf course! Conditions were great. Pace of play was very, very slow though. I also was frustrated about checking in for our tee time. I paid online on GolfNow and the employee at the course said my credit card didn't get charged and he charged me again at the course. He didn't know how GolfNow works which was very frustrating. He was also somewhat rude about it too. I did get my money back for being charged twice though.
