About
Glacier Wood Golf Club has a unique landscape that was carved by ice and earth. The scenic course sprawls across diverse terrain that combines open, grassy meadows, with mature forests and marshland. Sweeping elevation changes and glacial rocks that frame the course provide stunning views from tee to green. The more open holes have a spacious feel while the wooded ones are invitingly secluded. Golfers will have numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with as well as many water hazards. The par-3 12th hole is the course's signature. This stunning hole incorporates dramatic elevation changes, forest, and wetlands for a challenge that you won't soon forget. The 15th is another hole that is as equally memorable, a u-shaped par 5 that is a double dogleg with a steeply sloped green.

Awesome Course
This course is phenomenal! If you can get a deal on golf now.com, it will be the best course you ever played for the value!
Best kept secret in WI
Great price, even at full price, had some rain issues lately but is usually the best conditioned course around. Better greens and fairways than most in the Fox Valley and it's really pretty. People play golf in Iola, apparently, so the pace is fast and there's no drunks out on the course screwing up everything. We'll stocked pro shop and friendly, courteous staff.
Always a good course kept in good shape. Friendly staff. Good challenge for a good value.
Great Golf Great Course
A beautiful course, well designed, challenging at times......
Pretty course
First time playing here, in town visiting. Loved the layout. Greens are tricky. Scenery around course is great. Traps in challenging places. Went back and played again a week later it was so good!
Tree lined fairways accuracy off the tee paramount
Love every hole on the back 9. Great layout in great condition.

The course is beautifully hilly, wooded, and in great condition. Will return often.
Excellent Course!
What a wonderful time I had with my 3 sons playing this top notch course! Each hole seemed like it was cut out of the woods. Beverage cart girl was super accomadating. We saw deer, turkey, and geese while playing. Would highly recommend this gem to anyone. Thank you!

This course is in great shape with lots of hills , vallies and curves huge Boulders Tree lined greens. If you ever get a chance take the ride and go
Great course, Great Value
Played this course thru an online deal. Fantastic layout with some very challenging holes thru the woods. Fair landing zones and challenging greens. Worth the 60 mile drive to play it.
Spectacular glacial rock formations
Had never heard of this course - would definitely go back. Very scenic, moderately challenging, some really interesting holes hitting over ravines.
Nice hilly course
Enjoyable course wth a lot of sidehill lies and sloping greens. Some interesting elevation changes. Will definitely return.
I would like to say it was a great time.
The weather was a cool 54 deg. and a little wind.
Rain went through the night before we played.
So we had the course pretty much to our selves.
The course was in great shape with many challenges that you will want to play again.
the greens were some of the fastest that I have played.
Ill be back and maybe bring a little sunshine with me.

Great Course Hidden Away
Glacier Woods is a great course hidden in Iola. For early season was in great shape. Have played here before and could not believe how nice the course was for the price. The only issues was the pace of play. Don't know what was holding up everyone, but waited on the first 13 holes. Will play here a lot this year! Thank you Glacier Woods!!
