About
Glacier Wood Golf Club has a unique landscape that was carved by ice and earth. The scenic course sprawls across diverse terrain that combines open, grassy meadows, with mature forests and marshland. Sweeping elevation changes and glacial rocks that frame the course provide stunning views from tee to green. The more open holes have a spacious feel while the wooded ones are invitingly secluded. Golfers will have numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with as well as many water hazards. The par-3 12th hole is the course's signature. This stunning hole incorporates dramatic elevation changes, forest, and wetlands for a challenge that you won't soon forget. The 15th is another hole that is as equally memorable, a u-shaped par 5 that is a double dogleg with a steeply sloped green.

Great value
This is one of the better courses in the area. What makes it even better is the reasonable price for golfing. They take advantage of GolfNow so that's a bonus for me to check pricing and open tee times.
Staff is great and the food is phenomenal there. A+.

Great Course
Played a great late season round. The course was well maintained and in excellent condition for November......
Great November Round
A noon tee time turned into a perfect day for 18 holes of late Fall golf. The fairways were lush with challenging but fair rough. The greens were cut low and were about 95% leaf free. The staff was very friendly but the clubhouse was closed for food and drink due to the lack of die hard golfers looking for a Saturday afternoon round of golf on a gorgeous course. Agreat course foe all golfers.
Play among very large boulders
Fun course to play. Premium on hitting the ball straight. Many holes played between large boulders on either side. Generous tee box for seniors and ladies.

very scenic
Fun course to play
Played from the senior tees and for my length the course was very playable. Adding additional tee length would make the course very challanging for any skill level. Great fast greens.

Challenging & Fair.
Lots of interesting holes. Only hole I'm not fond of is number 15, a par 5 that seems set up a bit odd. Otherwise every hole is challenging but fair. Greens were a little bouncy but they putted very true. Fantastic Value for the money.
A hidden jewel!
It's rare when I can't come up with one or two negatives about a course. That is the case for Glacier Wood. It truly is an exceptional value for the money and I can't wait to get back for the second round to try to correct "my" short comings.

For $28 a round, this is tough to beat. The course has variety and a great mix of playability and challenges for every level of golfer.

Beautiful course, that utilizes and enhances its natural beauty. Challenging layout rewards precise shots and penalizes mistakes. Course in excellent shape. Definitely deserves its 4 1/2 rating and 2009 award as Best Muny in Wisconsin. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Course has great views
Great course. Problems we had playing on a Friday was we allowed four two somes to play through, which caused our round to take five hours.
Also all soda machines were out of order and there were no drink carts.
