About
Glacier Wood Golf Club has a unique landscape that was carved by ice and earth. The scenic course sprawls across diverse terrain that combines open, grassy meadows, with mature forests and marshland. Sweeping elevation changes and glacial rocks that frame the course provide stunning views from tee to green. The more open holes have a spacious feel while the wooded ones are invitingly secluded. Golfers will have numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with as well as many water hazards. The par-3 12th hole is the course's signature. This stunning hole incorporates dramatic elevation changes, forest, and wetlands for a challenge that you won't soon forget. The 15th is another hole that is as equally memorable, a u-shaped par 5 that is a double dogleg with a steeply sloped green.

Foggy
Heavy fog all morning with heavy dew but course conditions tho wet were excellent. They had the greens dry by 8am. Saw deer in the woods on most holes with many turkeys present.

Everything was perfect. I hate hole 15. I have for a long time. Everything else was perfect. Great food, course was manicured earlier in the day. One suggestion to the grounds crew, 150 yard markers. Couple of white posts would really be beneficial. Keep doing what you are doing!!
course is a great course to golf
The course is beautiful and it was fun to golf. The only issue was there was an outing before us and there was a rain dely. We understood that , but the foursomes that were in front of us after the outing, were EXTREMELY SLOW. over 2hours and 45 minutes to complete 9 holes. it then began to thunder and lighting, so we finished 9 but received 1 18 hole round raincheck. I understand some of the issues, but there should have been a smoother flow. We golf alot and very seldom run into this kind of issue. will try again, hopefully a better round next time...
