Fun
The weather scared everyone off, so we had the course to ourselves! Considering all the rain we have had, the course was in fairly good shape except for a few muddy spots. A good little course to practice ones chipping and putting.
Fun short course; friendly helpful staff
This 18 hole course is short (a little over 3,000 yards), but challenging with a few narrow fairways. Greens and sand bunkers were in excellent shape. At the turn, my group (only two of us) went to use the restroom before heading to the 10th tee. As we got to the 10th tee, a foursome who was only playing the back nine was getting ready to tee off. They might not have realized that there were only two of us in my group, so they teed off without asking us to go first.
After they teed off and were walking to their balls, the marshal alertly noticed the situation. Without any prompting from us, he drove his cart towards the 10th hole to chat with the group in front of us. He then came back to let us know that he’s spoken with the group in front and that it was ok for us to play through anytime we caught up with the group. Kudos to the marshal for doing that and giving everyone a clear message. This is evidence that this is a well run operation. We will be back!
Snails pace
First off, no starter or marshall on a holiday!
Pace of play was really slow! We wete waiting 10 minutes at every tee box! No golf ettiqutte here!, group in front cant have a single player play through! Kids videoing golf swings at every hole.
People playing from the tips and cant drive to ball 120yrds! $84 for 2 with a cart.... what a watse of money!!!
Expect a longer day
I enjoy this course very much. Great greens and putting. However expect longer play time due to the tight tee time booking. The bookings are 4 minutes apart. More then half the golfers barely can get ahead with such tight bookings. Plan ahead.
Great time.
Hadnt played this course in 10 years. The ckub house had good beer selection and an outdoor pool table and shuffle board table. Was great to hang out after and decent food for the price. Staff was friendly and even remembered the names of the people in the group after play.
Course is an executive course so it is short, but good if you dont want to spend the whole day on a sunday. Would highly recommend and will be going back again.
Good round
Beautiful day to enjoy a round of golf in a beautiful setting. Conditions & pace of play made for a perfect day.
Walk in the park
Beautiful setting, like taking a walk in the park on a Saturday afternoon! This course will sharpen your iron game and challenge your putting skills. Narrow fairways, tall trees and small greens give this course a nestled in feeling, quite unique and interesting. Easy to walk, go and enjoy!
Great course for beginner and intermediate
Staff was friendly and the course has some non-green fairway but reasonable maintenance. Lots of trees are challenge to me.
Still a fun short course
I’ve played this course for over 40 years. They changed the sequence (old front nine is now the back), but its the same fun course where you can work on iron play and also pull out the big dog on a few holes. Lots of fun, great to walk
Unsatisfied day of golf
Third time playing this course and by far the worst experience. Our tee time got pushed back by 10 minutes. Our wait time was 12-16 minutes each hole and keep in mind this is only a par 60 and we left the last 3 holes after already playing for 4 hours. I’d say stay away during weekends, that includes Fridays. Great leisurely play during weekdays
Hot Deal
Fantastic price from Golfnow. With fee added, only around $15.50 per person. Course in great shape. Pace of play was good until we reach the 11th hole when there was a slow foursome. But, that's ok. We're out there to enjoy the great outdoors!
Fun course, good price, plays a bit slow on the weekend
We played a round on Father's Day. The weather was a bit overcast at the start but cleared up nicely. We got off on time and played with another twosome. We had a great time. The course is in decent shape. It is fun and a bit challenging as a short course. And it is beautiful!
Play was slow. It might have been because of Father's Day. The first nine took more than 2 hours (should be 1:30-1:40). The back was a bit faster.
Steal for price...
Four golfers $27 each, 2 carts $14 each, great food and beverage selection. I needed a glove got 2 for 1 deal. Needed to move my tee time back because my brother is always late, no problem for the staff. Friendly from the pro shop, to the kitchen, to the greens. Will golf there again. Oh, and we jumped the fence to help a downed motorcyclist on the 11thtee box... no big deal
Great thinking course
A great course for any level player. For the intermediate to advanced player, it teaches you to trust your distance and use a gps device. Aim in front of the greens because flying over them often leads to a lost ball especially on the front nine.
