About
Inniscrone Golf Club in Avondale is one of the toughest public courses in the area. It is a formidable challenge to say the least, but an enjoyable one. None of the holes run parallel to each other and no two holes are alike either. The greens have quite a bit of variation from one to the next but mostly they are very large and extremely fast. Although the greens only have mild contouring, the rippling landscape still provides plenty of challenges throughout. Strategically placed bunkers perfectly complement the dramatic elevation changes, ranging from pot bunkers to vast expanses of sand. Inniscrone Golf Club's ninth hole is a memorable one since it encapsulates the course's appeal with a ridge of cross-bunkers just off the tee and even more along the left side.

Great layout
This is a course with many challenging holes that makes you think about shot selection more than many other local courses. There does seem to be an issue with how the course handles water as a few places seem boggy most of the time. A few of the tees were quite bare and made it hard to find a good stance and I also noticed some bunkers were basically empty of sand.
All things said I do like the course design and layout and the challenge it presents.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful so you always get a great welcome.
Would play again
I definitely will play this again. I really enjoyed playing this course for It challenging terrain.
Challenging course
The course the is well kept. I would play this course more often if I lived closer. I found it to be challenging but I also think I can play it a lot better than I did.
Great value, quality course.
Dollar for dollar, one of best values in surrounding area. Course was challenging, particularly the par fours. Greens were country club condition. Don’t let the yardage on card fool you, it plays longer than it reads.
Unique and challenging
As a relatively new golfer, it was possibly the most challenging I’ve played. Very enjoyable overall despite some self induced frustration
