About
Inniscrone Golf Club in Avondale is one of the toughest public courses in the area. It is a formidable challenge to say the least, but an enjoyable one. None of the holes run parallel to each other and no two holes are alike either. The greens have quite a bit of variation from one to the next but mostly they are very large and extremely fast. Although the greens only have mild contouring, the rippling landscape still provides plenty of challenges throughout. Strategically placed bunkers perfectly complement the dramatic elevation changes, ranging from pot bunkers to vast expanses of sand. Inniscrone Golf Club's ninth hole is a memorable one since it encapsulates the course's appeal with a ridge of cross-bunkers just off the tee and even more along the left side.

It was just alright
Course was in decent shape and the layout was nice. The ranger was really rude explaining an unrealistic 12 minutes per hole pace of play and telling us to speed it up when we didn’t keep pace. Will never return.

Drainage
Why is every hole soaking wet? Makes the course unplayable at times either you hit it clean or it’s a mud bath!

greens terrible for 70 dollars
if im spending 70 bucks the greens just have to be better. ball marks all over the greens and alot of damage from recovering marks. a few bare patches which arnt necessarily bad but they were close to some pin positions. also the 90 yard par 3 that plays 10 yards down hills with a front to back sloping green with OB behind.... cmon.

Love this course
I’ve played this course since probably 2010 maybe once every 3-4 years and it never disappoints. Played after a good amount of rain fell in 48 during a summer drought and I do recall the course being wet before, but it held up pretty well, the turf is at least in great shape so if your lie is wet, you can still get off a nice shot from it.
I need to get out here and play more. Little expensive for after work, but the play was practically empty.

Course in great shape, friendly staff
Course is generally in great shape. Layout is fair and fun.
Staff is all very friendly. We had a very early tee time and pace of play was excellent.

Wet
Having no rain i couldnt believe how wet everything was, either poor drainage or over watering im not sure

Great course - especially for the money
I really enjoy playing Inniscrone and the value for your money is always superior to other courses of similar stature. The only reason I rate the course as a "4" is that the tee boxes are not great at all. A few are actually "uneven" which makes teeing off a little more challenging while other tee boxes are really torn up and need of a little TLC. That all said overall I like the course and do recommend it to others.
