About
Inniscrone Golf Club in Avondale is one of the toughest public courses in the area. It is a formidable challenge to say the least, but an enjoyable one. None of the holes run parallel to each other and no two holes are alike either. The greens have quite a bit of variation from one to the next but mostly they are very large and extremely fast. Although the greens only have mild contouring, the rippling landscape still provides plenty of challenges throughout. Strategically placed bunkers perfectly complement the dramatic elevation changes, ranging from pot bunkers to vast expanses of sand. Inniscrone Golf Club's ninth hole is a memorable one since it encapsulates the course's appeal with a ridge of cross-bunkers just off the tee and even more along the left side.

Tale of Two Courses
The front nine has generous fairways with interesting terrain challenges. The back nine has much tighter fairways, long carry holes and plenty of opportunities to go to your bag for another ball.
Value Round?
While the day was perfect and the course in good condition, the unstructured nature of the starts led to congestion. So many singles and unsupervised progress made for a 5 hour round on an 11AM Wednesday game. Not sure the GN value play is worth it.
Played 9/11/24 God Bess America 🇺🇸
Very nice track. It’s sad people don’t respect the course, lots of divots not being replaced or filled as well as ball marks not repaired on greens. It’s too bad the club house isn’t used that much.
This course was burnt out and they had aerated and the sand on the greens were like playing in a sand box
The greens were burned out the tee boxes were burnt out. Horrible condition.
If we were told this before hand we would have chosen another course.
This course needs some help
I have played this course many times and always in good to great shape. Now I haven’t played there in a few years and played the other day and it was in terrible shape. Greens were burnt out and aerated with sand piled up high on the greens , tee boxes were in bad shape.
Remarkably bad condition
I've played this course for a long time but the maintenance has fallen to very low levels. Some of the greens literally had dried out, cracked patches of mud rather than grass, overgrown bunkers, etc. Very sad. Stay away until/unless they start properly maintaining it again.
