Played only a few days out of over seeding in mid October. Course was close to being top notch except the bunkers. Hard pan at best. Greens looked like they have never been hit . Mint condition ur slow of course. Great layout and amazing views. A must play

Brown firm fairway’s provided extra roll out distance. Bring your A game. Lots of challenging forced carries off the tee. Will go back again

Course management is a premium playing this course. Also plan your shots to avoid various hazard areas is important. It's a challenging course and appears ready for its fall maintenance and aeriation activities. Also carts they have are computer programed to "assist" you around the course. Be careful about getting too close to greens and/or hazard areas as carts will halt and require you to back up to activate forward motion again. Takes a little to get used to.

Course is in terrible condition. Only green grass on the course is the greens. Compared this to Sewailo which my wife and I played last week for the same cost and there is NO comparison. All the traps at Arizona national are mostly rock and dirt. There is no green grass in the fairways. Not sure why that would be except for lack of funds for maintenance although this is supposedly a Troon course. Unfortunately I should have taken pictures to add to this review but I did not. A few years ago this was one of my favorite courses in Tucson be it 45 minutes from my house. Based on my experience today I don't think I will ever play at Arizona National again.

Hard to say the course even has bunkers. It’s more like rock pits. The bunkers need full renovation with actual sand added and maybe enough to have more than an 1/8th inch in depth.

Highly suggest moving to grass bunkers, easier on the maintenance team if you can’t afford to have real sand bunkers.

Groundskeepers we’re super obnoxious, rude. They were really loud and don’t understand golf educate. Even as I drove away from the parking lot a groundskeeper cut me off. First time in 30 years of golfing all over this country that I’ve ran into a grounds crew with such an angry disposition.

Excellent conditions except sand…hard packed.

Restaurant needs some work.

The temperature was 100 degrees and there was only one water jug on the course. I had my yeti filled with water and ice before starting and could only refill it once with water and once with ice from the beverage cart which we saw one ime only. By hole 16 I was out of water and ice. Did not finish the last 2 holes because of lack of energy. The other course I played the otber day had drinking water every 3 holes. I refilled my yeti numerous times.

Various elevations. Course was in great condition. People had previously commented only one nine was open. They had the entire course open. We teed off at 6:15 am no else on the course. Great value for the money. Would play again.

Unfortunately front 9 closed so played the back 9 twice.

Well with it…

Course is great as always, problem is they don’t advertise anywhere at all until you pay at the club house that they are only playing the front 9 twice due to a few day renovation project. That’s usually no problem but give the opportunity to people if they don’t want to play only 9 holes twice. There also was no cart girl service either. Course was in good condition as always though.

Beautiful course with beautiful views. Good variety of distances.
