Course is always a challenge. Fairways in good shape but greens not up to normal smooth true roll. Looks like a little trouble filling in from aeration’s. Played behind two older gentleman and a father and son. Father & son looked more beginners level. Overheard him say he played earlier that week and took 5 hours. Couple I played with planned to quit after nine holes. Played as a twosome still took 2:45 minutes to play back side. Watched 5 swings from the bunker. 🫢 Still almost 4:45 minute round.

Nice layout. It’s just that time of year when maintenance must be done and the heat is baking the grass out. It’ll be back. Bunkers are pretty hard.

I have played this one a handful of times since moving to Tucson a couple of years ago. The views are sensational. The signature hole, number 18, is stunning. It’s worth it to tee it up on the black tees just for the view itself.

Pros - Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape. The staff are exceptional and treat everyone wonderfully.

Cons - Unfortunately, they just aerated the greens, so they’re bumpy and sandy. The sand traps have some rocks in them and are very firm, so they’re really dirt traps. This seems to be the norm in Tucson.

Overall, I love this course and love playing it!

Didn’t know the Back nine was closed until we arrived at the clubhouse. Playing the front nine twice was extremely slow.

Aside from the required fairway plugs, a great round.

Beautiful course. Great views. Greens ran fast and were difficult to read - generally ran to the valley.

Our foursome has been playing A/N for many years and just love the challenging layout. It’s always in great shape and worth the one hour drive from Catalina.

Beautiful course in great condition. We played in 4h starting at 9am. We met with team ahead of us on the 16th hole. Carts are a must and are new with onboard maps of the holes and GPS. I was charged $25 to get my own cart when the course was not packed, only negative.

Views of the Tucson valley are gorgeous,

Bring a few balls and try to get your ball on the fairway, the course is very penalizing if you are off the fairway.

Finally take a picture from the blue Ts on the 18th signature hole.
