Traps are a mess. Fortunately had a rake in the cart to lift, rake and place. Course design and overall condition was great.

Challenging Layout, great views

Have played 2x this week. Positives include great layout and views. Very challenging. Actually maintain the rough instead of just dormant Bermuda. Negatives include carts with seat tears, cracked windshields, greens are rock hard and don't hold approach shots. (Leave your divot tool in the bag), tee boxes uneven and poorly maintained as are bunkers. Greens extremely fast on downhill putts. If your above the hole, good luck. Almost all greens slope hard toward the city and difficult to read. Local knowledge a must.

Love The Course

The course layout is one of the best in Tucson. Fairways and greens are in fantastic condition. Best I've seen in 4 years. Bunkers (like just about every other course in Tucson) need some work. Not groomed, people don't rake them, very little sand. Pace of play is often slow because this is a challenging course. NO MARSHALS TO KEEP GROUPS ON PACE (my pet peeve with nearly every public course).

The course was great.

Beautiful course, wide fairways, challenging greens. We played with a couple that belonged there. Good thing several of the holes were not well marked. Wonderful day.

charged for range balls.. no gps in cart. seat in cart had a large tear. tee boxes were crowned, uneven, and the grass was in bad shape. greens were hard and didn’t hold. nice desert views but not worth the fee. star pass a much better option.

Arizona Nation is Worth the Trip

It was a 2 hour drive to play Arizona National but worth

it ! The tees, fairways and greens were all in great shape. We played in 4 hours during a sunny afternoon with some terrific folks. Unfortunately the "gentleman" working the Pro Shop on arrival was not very pleasant. Definitely someone who should not be customer facing when trying to establish a good first impression for a round fo golf at a terrific course.
