Arizona National Golf Club

Many GC utilizing golfnow t-time are less than receptive to participants. Not the case with Arizona National. Thanks for graciousness and hospitality on great course.

I played this course frequently and I cannot remember a slower round. 3pm start. 4:40. Ironically, the GPS monitor continually reminded us that we were behind Pace. If you’re gonna book 8 to 10 minute tee times for people are falling behind Pace you need to have a ranger out there moving people along, which they did not have.

It will challenge you but fun to play and a good value compared to many courses.

I like this course very much and I feel it is in very good shape except for the bunkers and traps. They are hard full of rocks and very sub par for a course like this.

first time playing course was in great shape greens and fairways like carpet. used handheld rangefinder. it seemed to be more accurate with elevation than the cart to the pin. playing again next week.

This is a well maintained course (except for the bunkers) that requires some thinking regarding club selection from tees. A few of the par 4s are not necessarily driver holes. Course plays longer than the yardage indicates, so it may be wise to play up a set of tees from your normal yardage. The bunkers are full of small rocks and a sign in the clubhouse suggested lifting your ball, raking the sand, and re-drop. The pro shop staff is not the most friendly. Played this course two times, and would play again. Avoid windy days as there are several holes with large elevation changes. Will play again when in the Tucson area.

The design of AZ National makes it a must play course; however the price is hard to justify given the current conditions. The bunkers are mostly packed dirt while practice facilities are minimal and in poor shape.

Really enjoyed the day. Such a beautiful a challenging layout. The grounds were like an oasis in the desert.

It’s remote and mostly locals play it and they like it that way. Amazing layout with generous fairways and unreadable greens that will bring you back. BTJ at his best. Plan on playing it twice at least.

Beautiful views let u forget about wayward shots. Play was unfortunately slow but gave us more time to enjoy where we were. We’ll be back. Everybody friendly on site makes a difference also.

Great course! Course was in great condition. Only negative was the foursome in front of us were very slow. Will play it again.

I played with three other golfers who added to the enjoyment of the round. The wind had an impact of our play and scores. The course is in great shape and a great place to play in Tucson.
