As usual Troon has messed up another Arizona golf course. The greens are poor due to aeration recently and the fairways are half dead. The head pro and the superintendent should be fired for letting this golf course get into this kind of shape. I can see why the U of A left for another facility if this is the way Troon intends to keep it. Too bad. This could be such a good track

These guys are working hard!

Still remains one of my favorite TUS courses. After severe drought followed by monsoon, this course, like most others, has its challenges. Difference is, these guys are working on it...hard. Lots of ground crew marking ground under repair (mostly in the rough, but some large patches of fairway...) and preparing for overseeding to repair the significant damage. (no big deal...just place the ball on some grass.) Post-aeration the greens are in good shape and rolling nice. Everyone friendly here. Glad they care and are taking steps necessary to bring the course back into top condition.

Love this course but we were backed up 2-3 groups deep at each tee box which means the Marshall wasn’t doing their job. Probably wouldn’t play here again if that’s the consistent rate of play
