Amazing course. First time playing there. Fantastic layout, very challenging but not daunting. First hole on Oaks is daunting where it's a dog leg left, par 4, over the water on an elevated tee box where there are homes in a slicers nightmare. But after that, smooth sailing. Greens were firm and fast, very well maintained and practice facilities were top notch. Could not find the bar if there is a bar which was a tad of a bummer but there is a drink cart that comes around for those who need some swing lube and or to take the edge off. Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back into the area and play this course again.

So, it's my third time playing Heron Creek and I'm already looking forward to playing there again. If you want a country club experience without joining, Heron Creek is for you. From the moment you arrive in the gated community, everything is top notch and everyone is friendly. Tee to green, all 27 holes are well manicured, challenging, visually stimulating, and the pace of the greens are consistent.

The clubhouse has good food, reasonable prices, and great service.

I play a bunch of golf from Tampa to Fort Myers and Heron Creek is one of the best, and it's only $60!

The greens were a let down. They are very hard, and consequently they play like brand new greens. Since the greens aren't new, they shouldn't play this way. They are also very, very grainy.

Improve the greens and you'll have an outstanding golf course.

Course condition not the greatest. Played Creek and Oak. Oak was the better of the two.

Liked the natural spaces between holes.

Didn’t like the enter/exit system for each hole but understand what’s being attempted.

Great experience playing Heron Creek. Golf course was in great shape, greens were fast and challenging!

Played the course on a Friday afternoon. Needed to play in 4 hours to finished in daylight. Pace was slow - they said a group making the turn a few groups in front of us stopped for food at the turn and backed everyone up by 20 minutes so we waited on pretty much every shot and finished in the dark. Other than that we enjoyed the course and had a good time. Good value this time of the year. Friendly staff including cart girl!

The practice facilities are great, pro shop is well stocked, staff is friendly, and the course is in good shape and is playable, yet challenging. Lots of tee choices. My only gripe is the pace of play (5 hours), and that we never saw a ranger pushing the groups along.

We usually play Heron Creek several times each winter. I will be back, but I’ll get a morning tee time.

Course is in very good shape. Bunkered and elevated greens make this a challenging course.

Lots of forced carries. The wind didn't help either. But is was a fun day.
