Gem of a course!
A great Arthur Hills designed course. I have played the LPGA Hills course many times and this is very reminiscent. A challenging layout to be sure. Not a good course for the beginner. Narrow landing areas and fairways make this a challenge if you tee shot is errant. Conditions were very good. Once the greens completely heal from the punching it will be top notch. Highly recommended!
We were lucky enough to play that day with only 2 groups on the courses we played it went quick and we had a great time as always

One of my favorite Florida Golf courses.
I'm a member of another course locally, but when I get in the mood to play another it is always, Heron Creek. 27 Holes and the best practice facility I ever used. The course is always in good shape and they have receive a lot of rain in this area. Try it.

Too slow
Way too many people out there. Very slow. Greens were punched which is fine but putting wasn’t the best experience for the price point. Course was real wet and a few holes were cart path only. Practice putting area was basically no help, no holes to shoot at, under construction. Beautiful course as always but way too hot to be waiting that long on every hole. Group in front of us was asked to speed up play, proceeded to be even slower after that until the bitter end at 18.

Heron Creek Golf!!
We had a fun time playing golf at Herron Creek!! The practice putting greens had too dressing on so we couldn't putt on them!! There was NO Cart gal on the course to get drinks too!! Our T time was 11:45 ...so there should have been somebody on the course selling drinks & snacks!!!

Love this course
3 - nines and all are in great shape, moderate to fast greens and settings is beautiful. Only downside is IF one of the nines are closed for maintenance, putting out groups on both remaining nines can cause delays in starting your back nine. Still worthwhile.

Enjoyable Course
As mentioned in previous reviews, from the T-Boxes to the Greens this Course is well manicured. Played the Creek and Marsh Courses which both did not disappoint. Well worth the Trip to play Heron Creek….

My Favorite
Not only 27 holes of Pure Pleasure, (when I'm playing well), but always like a carpet, greens fast. I'm a member of another club down here, but still find a reason to play here. Often, use just the range which is 2nd to none. Do It,
and yes, always a course player assistant keeping the game moving. But Friendly about it.

Nice Course
Thry Had cart path only the day I was their. It was a bear with all the walking. The people working seem like they hate their jobs. The ref. cart lady was nice.
