About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Course is in great shape....
Although we played in 4 1/2 hours - it seemed longer. At one point there were 4 groups on hole 13. A ranger would be a good idea.
Debary Friday
Course layout was fun but very challenging. Greens were very fast. Hole lication were all on a slope or ridge.Almost unplayable. Hoping next round, the greens are more playable.
Excellent customer service
Upon our arrival we weee mar and greeted by the staff who were so friendly and helpful in getting us organized and ready to go. We were very happy with the VIP service we received and would highly recommend anyone going to be in the Daytona or Orlando area to Che k out DCC. Thank you for showing us what professionalism is all about . Great job to all the staff and crew .
Solid
$50 for a 1250 time, got paired up which was fine. Course looking good, but needs rain just like everywhere else. Really glad they’ve roped off areas near green, helped to markedly improve conditions since I was last out here. Greens always some of the best in the area.
Pace of play was slightly slower than my ideal but still a 4 hour round, Will be back soon
Good Overall
Course was in decent shape for this time of the year. Grass on some fairways was pretty thin but greens rolling nice and fast. Nice layout and very challenging. Staff was very friendly and lunch at the clubhouse was good.
Again overcrowded…
Normally greens are very good but they were all sanded and speed was totally inconsistent.
Pace of play seems to be a recurrent problem with no guarantee that you will play in under 5 hours despite having a ranger on the course.
Layout if the course is good for the most part.
Grass is sparse on the fairways with many bare lies.
Traps are in very good condition.
Slow at Twilight
I was a single paired w 3 members for a 2:20 timeslot and we got in 16 holes before calling it due to darkness at about 6:35. Driving through 17 & 18 to the club house we passed 5 more groups on the remaining 2 holes.
Staff and playing partners were extremely pleasant and course is nice layout despite sanded areas throughout greens and no water in any of on course coolers.
Apparently there is a distinction in membership of "twilight membership" to the club and they let those members begin teeing off ~1:30 (and Golfnow deals start at 2) so I would potentially play again just would have to tee earlier.
Course is in great condition. Greens are in perfect condition , fast / lots of break- and anything above the hole is likely to lead to a 3 putt. The 9th and 18th are among the best closing holes in central Florida. Staff is very friendly and the pace of play has never been an issue.

Course had decent layout but the fairways were in rough shape. Greens rolled very nice. The back 9 was in good shape
Good shape for February
Very playable. Greens had adequate grass for a February with a warm dry spell. Will continue to come back.
