Deltona Club
About
The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Great greens, fairways need help
Greens were in great condition. Fairways had no grass, none. Due to no water and the recent cold weather. Fairways need help!
The greens are in good shape and the fastest I’ve ever seen them.
The course needs some work on the fairways and tee boxes and definitely needs rain but always a fun time at Deltona.
A slow ride through the desert
You get what you pay for, and I was looking for a round of cheap golf. There is little to no grass on this course. I hit several "fairways," only to find my ball in dirt or vast swaths of sand. Greens were fast, but no grain. Front nine took 2:40, the course was packed...I tapped out on the ninth. Upside: this is a great layout that with some real effort could be a fun course. The course has great staff.
Poor conditions despite moderate price.
Course if below expectations but with much needed landscape focus has potential. Fairways hard with bare spots and weeds. Aeration and seeding definitely needed. Greens totally unpredictable and also weed infested.
Slow pace with no marshals to help with pace. Shocked clubhouse closed at 3pm on a Saturday with several players still on the course.
Cheap rates is all
Ok place to play if cost is your only concern. Tee boxes and greens were in ok shape but everything in between is hit and miss as to if you’ll be on grass or bare dirt. Pace of play was decent this day but only because the group that was supposed to tee off before us let us go first as they said they weren’t very good. Lost them by the second hole and never saw them again after the third, so I imagine the pace behind them wasn’t too good.
OK Golf Course
Fairways are Fair to Poor but Greens are Good.
Staff are Very Friendly.
Challenging Layout, but needs work overall
This was my first time playing here. The course layout is challenging with different elevations and plenty of sand.
Tee boxes, fairways and the greens need work. Fairways littered with weeds plus hitting from the hard pan a lot. The greens were decent, but again a lot of weeds on the perimeter. Pace of play was good on a cool and breezy day.
Course condition
Course was like playing off dirt all day. Better chance of finding some grass of you hit your ball intentionally into the rough. Guess that's the reason for getting a decent price, you get what you pay for, still wasn't worth it.
Good course. Would play again
Overall the course was good. Definitely value for the money. It wasn’t pristine, but then again most courses aren’t this time of year.
Lowest condition course in 25 mile radius !
Since Covid this course has gone to the birds & hasn’t returned!!! The only thing that was average / above average was the staff & hotdogs. If this was an overall value review I wouldn’t pay $25 for 18 holes and cart.
Perhaps that will shed the light on how the course has been maintained. Won’t be back until we hear management has been changed
The fairways were thin to bare in most spots.
Greens were in excellent condition.
old timer
first play this year. after the freeze, fairways thin but greens outstanding. player here maybe 40-50 times in last 10 years. probably a 'B', good value for the price
Late start, again
Third time in a row that I have played and there was over an hour delay. I was told each time that it was a frost delay, that was untrue twice. Guess I’ll be taking a long break from this place.
Coarse is ok at best fairways are fairways and greens were really fast to fast
