Deltona Club

Another round where if you show up at the right time, you basically have the whole golf course to yourself. I’ve never gone to this golf course with they told me I had to wait for my actual teatime. They are so accommodating. If the course matched the staff, you couldn’t afford to play here.

I haven’t played this course in a year and it has gotten worse since then. Weeds everywhere in the fairways and rough is real rough. Tee boxes are ok as are the greens but the rest is in pretty rough shape. Very slow play today also with multiple groups on each hole. Tough finding any grass…lift, clean and place pretty much every hole. I’m done with this course.

Got to course early. Place was packed. Paid for three players for 18 holes tee time at 12:20 pm. Sat around till 12:30 at tee box 1. There was a group of five just teeing off and a group of 4 behind them. I decided to go start on back nine. Pace was good and we got to tee box 1 at 2:30ish. We started and all good, but got to hole 11 and carts were everywhere. The had started a shotgun scramble. We had to stop golfing. I proceeded to clubhouse to see if I could get some kind of refund as we basically only finished 9 holes and was told there was nothing they could do it’s been packed all day. I was so frustrated. I will not go back to this course.

Showed up for my tee time, course was closed, prepaid for my tee time. No one in the pro shop no one answering phones. Golfpass wont refund me even though the choirs was closed with no notice. Multiple groups of players were showing up trying to check in their their tee times the club had pre sold, again even though they aren’t open

Was pleasantly surprised to find that the tee boxes were over seated with Rye and looked pristine. The greens were smooth and had grass on them and were running about nine on the stemp meter. The layout is always fun to play. The bunkers are getting better. Keep up the good work.

Needs watering on the fairways and cut the greens they are to slow. Otherwise great course

Course conditions fair, picked a good time to play as far as pace of play. Greens recently sanded. Staff friendly but limited.

From the moment you drive into the parking lot you feel welcomed. Clubhouse attendants were very friendly and provided superior customer service. Tee boxes had new seed and nice green grass, Fairways had some bald spots, but overall nice fairways. Greens were all well maintained and had some challenging angles to content with. Will definitely be back to play here.

If you like Claremont National, you can pay half as much and have the same experience here at the Deltona Club. My only complaint is that the fairways need a bit of work but for the price the greens and tees more than make up the difference. I will absolutely be back.

If you are a beginner or just a hacker, looking at the spray some balls, this may be a good choice for you. If you are serious about your game, choose another golf course. The fairway grass is thin and bear in many places. The greens are a little better than the last time I was here but still inconsistent. The first cut of rough is being mowed but once you get off of that, you could be wading through weeds. The golf course layout is good, but that’s about the only good thing I can say about it at this time.

Course looks great! Some fairways were being aerated but wasn’t an issue by any means. Greens were the best I’ve seen them since I started playing there last year.

Deltona is always in decent shape and offers a pretty unique layout. Not one lick of water on the course and conditions of tee boxes and greens are in satisfactory condition. Great value.

If you come and play Deltona at the right time, you basically have a whole golf course to yourself. This is one of my favorite places to play for this reason and also they have one of the nicest staffs.
