DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Great but greens not recovered

from being punched. Very bumpy and for some reason no one repairs their ball marks at DBCC. Great layout will be back in a couple weeks when greens are puttable.

Staff is always friendly, course is in great condition. Even with all the recent rain, there were no cart restrictions or standing water. The bunkers had 0 washed out areas and the sand was perfect. The greens are very firm, so it might be getting close to aerification time.

Nice course with firm greens

Greens not as receptive as I'd like. Layout was great. For FL being in a drought, this course was in pretty good shape. The recent rains should green it up nicely. Will be back and keep this in my normal rotation.

Course is in nice shape. Greens were rolling nice and fast. Challenging layout but enjoyable from the appropriate tee for your handicap. Starter was very friendly and pace of play was very good on a Sunday morning.

Terrible Golf Operations at Dbagbary

Was told to go off the back because of a tournament. Went to make the turn onto 1 and there were 7 groups on the first tee!!! Tried to get a 9 hole rain check with no avail. Will not be going back if they can’t have groups tee off the correct side due to circumstances. Waist of time on a weekend especially when I live 25 miles away!!!! Will not be going back DBagBary.
