DeBary Golf & Country Club
About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Not Your Typical Florida Course
Hidden away in a very nice residential area is a wonderful layout with Rolling Hills and fast greens Fairways are well maintained many greens are elevated with difficult pin placements you need to make adjustments right away if you are used to a flat Florida course staff was great and helpful a very enjoyable and challenging around no water holes on the front nine but plenty of sand traps
Well worth the money
Great course I usually go there my first day in Orlando so I go alone and always meet people to play with that I enjoy playing with then my schedule takes me to other courses in the area but I tend to gravitate to this course every chance I get
Best. Course in area
This is what a golf course should look like. Most in the area have on no fairways with grass and weed filled greens.
Keep up the good work.
Well worth the drive out of Orlando.
Green, over seeded fairways wind through tan, dormant rough. The greens are on the slow side, but consistent, and that's fine because some have severe undulations. The bunkers are large, well placed and all raked smooth.
The rough is sparse, and there's not much room around some greens. The course is by no means tight, but you can run out of room quickly if you miss either badly.
Well cared for course
This course has some interesting holes, especially No. 1, a short par 5 featuring a dogleg left to an elevated tee for your second or third shot, depending on your tee shot. Fairways and greens played well, and bunkers were strategically placed making the course challenging. The green fee is a little pricey, and I wish they offered a 9 hole green fee for those of us in the later years who would love to play a shorter version of a good course.
Great layout
Pace was spot on, managed to get out about 20 minutes bf planned tee time,
Course well maintained, bunkers raked , greens ran pretty good .. seemed hard to read with some tricky lies
Keep it on the fairway and the grass is coming back nice and green.. course is in good shape..
And worth the drive in land from Daytona
Course is in great shape. The recent renovations to improve drainage seem complete and the greens are perfect. Played in 4 hours on a day when the tee sheet was full. Holes 9 and 18 are among the best in central Florida to close out a 9. The blue tooth enabled carts are great if you want to listen to music while you play.
Great Courae
It was my first time playing, but I’ll be back. The greens are tricky, but really good and the course was in great condition.
