DeBary Golf & Country Club
About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Beware of Fog (not a typo)
Haha! We had the 1st tee time of the day in dense fog. It wasn't until to 10th hole didn't have much fun. Hit good shots but couldn't find my ball/shots....
Wish the starter allowed us time to start later but that wasn't an option.
Terrific track!
I can see why this course is so highly rated. A group had a wide range of handicaps and the layout and design offered a compelling round for all. Except for a few over used tee boxes the conditions were fantastic. The greens rolled really well - although it would be nice if people remembered how to repair their spike and ball marks. The only low rating was the fact that the halfway house was closed and there was no food available at lunchtime.
Great Greens
The elevation changes and raised greens are challenging. Try and keep approach shots below the hole as it is difficult to make par from above the hole. The greens are in excellent condition. Number 9 and 18 are 2 of the best ways to close out a nine in central Florida.
Nice course!
Played it with a friendly family, greens are in excellent condition! Fairways and tee boxes are decent, not a super challenging course but can drive OB, beautiful #9 and #18, pace was OK, finished the round just below 4 hours and 30 minutes for a foursome, really enjoyed it!
Very nice course
Because layout is a lot of fun. As long as there’s not much rain in the last few days the course plays great. The greens are very fast and challenging. Had a great time
Sixnine
I drove in from Pensacola fl, and i was very please with the course. It was challenging but yet playable. The greens was in excellent condition. I cant say enough about the staff. From the young man that check me in, to the young bringing the golf cart to the golf pro.. If im in this area again, this course will be in my plans. GREAT JOB GUYS!
Ferron
Played 9 because I had my wife with me (not a player- too hot). Intriguing greens and topography which is why I’ll be playing here many more times and will consider membership. Also played with a delightful person (Dick) who has not only years on the course but also the city.
Course in good shape, only consideration I have is as a first timer not knowing the layout, it would be good to have a layout on card.
Thank you guys
