About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Great Greens
The elevation changes and raised greens are challenging. Try and keep approach shots below the hole as it is difficult to make par from above the hole. The greens are in excellent condition. Number 9 and 18 are 2 of the best ways to close out a nine in central Florida.
Nice course!
Played it with a friendly family, greens are in excellent condition! Fairways and tee boxes are decent, not a super challenging course but can drive OB, beautiful #9 and #18, pace was OK, finished the round just below 4 hours and 30 minutes for a foursome, really enjoyed it!
Very nice course
Because layout is a lot of fun. As long as there’s not much rain in the last few days the course plays great. The greens are very fast and challenging. Had a great time

I drove in from Pensacola fl, and i was very please with the course. It was challenging but yet playable. The greens was in excellent condition. I cant say enough about the staff. From the young man that check me in, to the young bringing the golf cart to the golf pro.. If im in this area again, this course will be in my plans. GREAT JOB GUYS!
Ferron
Played 9 because I had my wife with me (not a player- too hot). Intriguing greens and topography which is why I’ll be playing here many more times and will consider membership. Also played with a delightful person (Dick) who has not only years on the course but also the city.
Course in good shape, only consideration I have is as a first timer not knowing the layout, it would be good to have a layout on card.

Comfortable Golf
A little warm but the pace was perfect. No one in front of us and no pushing. Layout is very good greens were fast. Just tap it. One of our favorite places to play. Wait staff is always friendly. We’ll be back.

Hidden "GEM"
It was my first time playing this course. It truly is a hidden gym never knew it existed a new to the area I would definitely recommend this course and go back again. Heads up if you go as a single the course may try to force you to ride with someone you don't know although you paid as a single. More golfers should express opposition against courses that tried to charge an extra fee to ride as a single. If you paid as a single you should be able to ride as a single. To avoid confrontation I recommend going as a twosome or as a group golf should be fun have a great time playing wherever you go.
