About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Great Course and Community
We're were paired with a club member who plays the course frequently. It made for an even better day because he wass familiar with the course and even offered a few pointers for a beginner!

Best semi-Private course in vicinity
We had a great time at DeBary. The staff was cordial, the layout was great and the conditions were wonderful. It was by far the best of the five or six courses in the area we have played and we intend to go back soon.

It rained , but the course drained well. Lots of water , but not there fault.

The only challenge was the clubhouse. The receptionist acted as if I was bothering him. I asked about course conditions, he failed to mention that the greens had just been punched. I had to ask how to get the first tee . Lastly, that a small tournament had just teed off. Someone’ needs train him a little better otherwise he’s a great business killer.

Great course
Every course has to aerate their greens. So Debary just did there’s. Still the best challenging greens in central Florida. Great people and great course

over priced for condition
Greens punched and sanded two days ago
Standing water all over the place
I don't have problem with either of these things but they should be honest upfront and warn guest. They should also adjust the price. We paid $55 for a $25 course in that condition. I won't be back that's for sure.

Great Course Challenging fun!!
This is about the 4th time my Son and I golfed here. There were some water issues since we had some heavy rains but the xourse was in excellent shape. The water really never came into.play. the fairways and the approach to the Greens and the Greens themselves were in Great Shape!! Groundskeepers do a great job at maintaining the course!! We are starting to be regulars here due to the price, course and amenities make for a Great Day of Golf for the entire family!!

Worth the ride
Debary is easy to get to from the Orlando / Winter Park area. The elevated and shallow greens require the player to hit high soft approach shots. The course is in good shape. Tees have grass, fairways roll , bunkers are well kept and the greens are in excellent condition. The course winds though a residential area, but the setbacks and vegetation hide the view of most of the houses. The course has numerous elevation changes, especially the 9th and 18th holes. The layout does not require forced carries as there are few water hazards or expansive waste area to deal with. Pay attention to pin position and unseen slopes on the green, as approach shots can easily funnel off the green if they land deep (the short iron approach at #1 will give you a good gage for what is required to succeed)

Great experience
This is a great course for the price. The lie of the land makes for good looking holes lined with natural beauty. Greens were in really good condition as was the fairways. Club house is classy, as was the whole experience. Not that far out of town.
