About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Fantastic condition
They're doing a phenomenal job. Course is in gorgeous shape. I didn't play great and it's a little tight. There's maybe 10 yards of rough and then your ball is gone. I played into a strong wind on about 12 holes so maybe that altered my perception somewhat. Anyhow, the course was absolutely beautiful.

ranger got it wrong
I drive 40 minutes to play this course. It is a good track. Today there was an issue. Teed off @ 11 as a foursome. A threesome started catching up to us on the back 9. They hollered off teeboxes several times while we were in the fairways, must have called the clubhouse...a ranger comes out to us on 15 fairway and tells 1 of our foursome we're slow and there's 3 holes empty in front of us. There never was anyone in front of us ALL DAY, so yeah, 3 empty holes. Ranger never bothered to check our tee time, exactly 2 pm when we were in 15 fairway, so 3 hours at that point. Finished the round in 3 hours 37 minutes. Threesome was still hollering from fairway on 18. Get your story straight before you talk to folks...won't be back for a while.

Would be a nice track, but needs some attention
At the current rate, we’ve paid it is OK. The course has partially a very interesting layout and requires precise shots. Tee boxes and fairways need some work, but are still well playable. Bunkers are OK, though not raked by all players! Greens are rather fast and mostly in good condition. The pace was just OK. Staff at the Pro Shop was cordial.
Overall – it is a good course and can be recommended.

Nice Course
Enjoyed a nice round on a Saturday in under four hours. Fairways had a minimal amount of thin lies. Course plays a little tight. Take less club when possible and keep the ball in play. The greens were fabulous. Not only were the greens lighting fast there were no signs of imperfections at all. Kudos to the course greens keeper! Final thought....those greens!!!!!

Need a course marshal
Made the turn playing 18 holes and there were 4 groups on the 10th hole.. We were a twosome and stood no chance of playing through. Drove by #1 tee and that had two groups waiting to tee off. We packed it in resulting in paying for 18 but only getting to play 9 holes. We have enjoyed playing here but the course needs someone monitoring pace of play, and eliminating individuals starting on back nine. We payed to play 18 and unless we endured 3 hrs on the back nine we had no chance.

Had a 2:30 tee time. Was told course backed up and may not get out unrt 3:30-4:00. Went home!

Slow play
Course was in good condition and staff was superb. Tha pace of play was extremely slow. Greens were fast and fairways good.

Very nice course
We enjoyed the course very much. The greens were very nice and somewhat quick. The biggest problem we had was following a five some that should not be allowed on any golf course.

Nice course
It was a beautiful day, but slow play. A slow foursome in three carts had us (a twosome) waiting on every shot while being pushed by the foursome behind us.

Greens Are phenomenal
Course is in great condition. Greens are great and roll real true and do what they should. Grass around the greens need some help but fairways and tee boxes are good.

Great day north of Orlando
We had never played this course before but were very pleased .Greens were in great shape and although the fairways had been drilled which limited the roll of the ball, the play was good. It is a nice layout with lots of pretty views. We will be back.
