About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

Nice course
This is a beautiful course. Lots of attention paid to keeping all the grass immaculate. Narrow fairways make for some challenging shots that demand a degree of accuracy. Cons: Lots of areas for standing water after the heavy rain that fell the night before. The snack bar was closed resulting in us being overcharged for our mid-round hotdogs and beer. Other than that, it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back.

Great course great people. Greens are always in good shape. Speed is perfect and they roll true. Entire course is very well taken care of.

great course
I played this course years ago and again just yesterday. The condition of the fairways and greens was as good as I have seen anywhere. Greens were fast and perfect..rolling landscape for Florida...almost no water in play...I'm going to play this course regularly...had forgotten how good it was. I live about 45 minutes and about $15 in gas and tolls away and that has held me back.....but it takes 45 minutes to go most anywhere anymore so give it a try

Excellent
The course was in great shape and staff was great. They paired me up with another gentleman, and he navigated me thru the course. Everything was great, except there was a foursome that were pretty slow holding everyone up, but outside of that, great.

Excelent greens, good bunkers & fairways.
Close galleries , poor drainage in some parts of the course. Very humid and hot at mid day.

All good, except....
Fairways good, greens mostly quick and smooth, tee boxes ok, pace was good until encountered the ruination of every good round of golf...the slow 4some that won't let smaller faster groups play through. Finally drove past the 2 2somes in front of us and the offending 4some and found an empty course from 14 on. If there's nobody in front of you and you can see a stack of people waiting behind you, then your the problem!!!

Nice Course
Course is in great shape. Only negative is that there is out of bounds down both sides of every hole. Nice place to play.

worth the drive
35-40 minute drive from east orlando, and worth it. Hilly, some up and down, great shape.

Great shape!
Greens are fast and in excellent condition. The only issue this course has is the catch water areas. These areas only come into play on two holes. You will see quite a few of these on the course but if you have found one then it’s because you hit a bad shot way off target. The Driving range is burnt up but don’t let that deter you. The course gets all the water it needs and shows. Go play and enjoy it.

Went twice and it rain got two different 9 holes rain checks even though we only play 4 holes one time and 6 the other, finally got a good day but the course was full of water every were balls that were Play able Were basically gone under water at one point got my shoes and socks wet had to play my last 5-6 holes with out shoes but the corse looks like is great when it’s dry. And I would recommend to my friends but just when it gets dry not now.

Good track
First time I played here. Cool undulations, and distinctive holes for the area. Range was terrible with mats and no mat tees to hit driver.
Slow pace of play.
Really cool holes to finish each nine.
Green speed was decent, looked like a 9-10 on stimp.

Overall excellent golf course
One of the nicest golf courses in the area! Always enjoy playing here. Reasonably priced.
Some greens still a little rough from a previous aeration but not bad.

Always solid
Aerated not long ago but still in pretty good condition; in 2-3 weeks this will be 5 stars. Pace of play was regulated nicely despite being behind a tournament

Good Round
I’ve played the course many times but this is the first time in several years. Play was a little slow but the course was in good shape. Although aerated in the few days the greens were rolling well. A great golf challenge

Teed off on time on a comfortable day. Found the fairways spotty in places but otherwise respectable. The greens had been aerated (we had been notified) but still in very payable condition. Have always enjoyed the layout with many challenging holes. I’ll be back!
