About
DeBary Golf & Country Club, a Lloyd Clifton-designed course sits on hilly land. The layout is fascinating. No two holes feel similar. Only two holes have water, but there is significant sand. Dense woods of pine and evergreen border the fairways. The rolling fairways and natural layout give the golf course a Carolinas feel. The par 5s are all in the 500- to 550-yard range. The par 3s are all approximately the same distance, running 180 to 190 yards from the back tees, and 150 to 160 yards from the white tees. DeBary is one of the few Clifton golf courses that do not top out at more than 7,000 yards.

DeBary Return
Having enjoyed playing Debary a couple of years ago I was keen to return. Managed to get a good Hot Deal price and have to say the course is as good as I had remembered. Received a real friendly welcome from starter Keith and was paired with 2 members who were great company. Course is in very good condition with greens running fast and smoothly. Not a lot of dog legs nor many water hazards but some really memorable holes. Fantastic holes to finish both nines with 18 my personal favourite. Look forward to a 3rd visit sometime soon
Great shape
I have never liked the layout, small greens with to much undulation, wet areas are always wet, pace of play is always 4 and a half hours or more (typically because members jump in to play extra holes or play as a 5some.). But course is in great shape.
Nice course, we had a blast!
It's a great course, but unfortunately it rained, so we had to quite after 5 holes, and they wouldn't give us a rain check for the remaining 3 holes, which I thought was a bummer.
surf/golf dude
great day as always, the conditions were fantastic and the greens are true, that said I get a real beating here and I love it every time.....Will be back.
Hard & Windy
Ground was hard and conditions were Windy. Paired up with two great gentlemen. The wind was the test. The ground was hard. Greens were very fast. The hard ground was a little difficult to get the club under the ball. Although the course was not at its best, still enjoyed the day. Being paired up with good people helps and the pace was also good. I would still come back, like the layout. Staff are always been friendly and polite.
Great value for the area
Heavy rainfall amounts during past months have caused some of the fairways to play catchup. Course in overall good shape. Greens fast but true. Bunkers well maintained. Rakes easily available. Friendly, accommodating staff.
A fine course
I normally play at Hilton Head this time of year. I found this course in much better condition. Everything was very well maintained and the staff was welcoming. Altogether a great experience.
Nicely Suprised
Really enjoyed the round. Course was in great shape. Greens rolled nice but not really fast. Pace was good. Enjoyed the small elevation. Staff was friendly and helpful! Price for in-season was appropriate. Not a lot of water but OB is on every hole. I will be back!!!
Golfcourse closed
The course was closed duee to rain when we came - drove 50 minutes - but got no noticee of closure Paid GN in advance. Hope I get reimbursed from golfnow!
