George W Dunne National Golf Course

Was lucky enough to play on a warm sunny day without much wind. The greens are very firm and fast. The course was in excellent shape considering heavy rainfalls for the week prior. Only real downfall was the bunkers. You were playing out of mud.

Overall course condition was great but a lot of the sand traps were in bad shape. The sand was rock hard, more like dirt than sand.

Staff could not be nicer. Wet conditions - cart path only -and ranger came out to make sure golfers not tearing up course. Other courses have abandoned the ranger, leading to terrible pace of play and course conditions. Not here! Will certainly return.

Course is overall very good condition with exception of about a third of the bunkers that had water in them and were unplayable. Maintenance has come a long way since the begiinning of the season. Greens moved very well and overall very pleased.

They can say all they want that we finished in a reasonable time but we waited on every tee and half the fairways. Here's a thought have a ranger on the course actually checking this out and the pace of play.

This is to nice a layout for the bunkers to be in such lousy condition

Love playing here us it is getting harder to justify taking the time to go here when their are so many nice alternatives cliseby

This is a great course when it is maintained properly. You could not hit out of any bunkers because they were holding so much water. Typically when you pay $70+ for a round you expect to be able to play golf out of well maintained bunkers.

Very nice course. Only two minor negative, pace was very slow - waited ever tee box sometimes for multiple groups and bunkers were like cement

Played this course earlier in the year and the bunkers were unplayable. A lot of work has been done and now only a few are unplayable. Other than bunkers course in very nice condition, greens moved nicely and it s a great layout.

The only negative were some of the bunkers we're hard - needed sand

This is my 3rd time in a month playing George Dunne and I’m really enjoying this course.It has an interesting and challenging layout with a nice mix of hazards. It’s in really good condition from the tees to greens with only 1 issue…they really need to get some sand in the bunkers! It wasn’t really an issue the first 2 times I played as I played well and stayed out of the bunkers, but this last round I was a little off and spend some time trying to hack my ball out of the hardened clay or sometimes the bunker “lake”. Please get it fixed and help make a pretty good course, a great one!

Course is in great shape. Played in under 4 hours on a Thursday afternoon.

Great course, fun layout. Where is the care for the sand traps? Sand traps need major attention. No sand in some and mud in others, this needs to be addressed ASAP

The course was in good shape. the greens were rolling good, but the bunkers need work. pace of play was ok.

5 hr round on a Monday ? Very slow 4 in front of us
