I am a 8 handicap
I love this course and have heard a lot about its past, i would love to come here when the weather allows. However the greens and the grass in most areas except the fairway, with exceptions, lack labor. This is a great place but i definitely think the rates should also be a tad cheeper and i also think it would help with the amount of customers that go golfing here. Although a lot of golfers go to Dunne i think at least when it hits 12:30pm the price should be lowered to a similar price that some of the other courses around here have.

The Best of the Forest Preserve Courses
This is one of my favorite courses! I recently started golfing this year and this is the course that I will consistently return to. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The course is usually kept in good condition. Occasionally after a large rain fall the fairways can be in rough shape, but the grounds crew really works hard to keep this course in good shape. Some of the greens could use a little work. This can be a challenging course for a beginner but has really helped me improve my game and how I approach my shots. I cannot recommend this course enough. I try to golf here at least once a week and have brought many of my friends and family to play here as well.

Best Forest Preserve Golf Course, PERIOD
Best Forest Preserve Golf Course, PERIOD. And as good as any public courses you’ll play. Very scenic, very fair, but challenging on each hole.

Another a great day at Dunne
Great layout great course. Was a little soggy but that’s what happens when it rains 2 inches over night. Course is in really good shape for how much play it gets. Glad coyote sighting didn’t cost extra yesterday.

Lots of rain in the morning, so fairways and bunkers were wet, but expected for that much rain. Rain cleared and it was 70+ degrees on an October afternoon, perfect.
Pac was great til the last 3 holes. 18 is a tough hole that seemed to back it up. Great course and value

Don’t do it
Greens were caked in sand. Fringes overgrown with weeds. Rough outside fairways was dead grass and hard dirt. Fairways were very nice. Not worth the rate with a cart under these conditions.
Nice course
Nice course, played in just over 4 hours on a Saturday morning. Food selections at the turn are very good, Well worth the trip!
