Pace was great. Course is in good shape. It’s a tough fun course. Only complaint is that the sprinklers were on when my group was on the 16th hole. Other than that, great course and staff.

It is not an easy course. The course has birdies out there but fairways are a must

We had almost an inch of rain the night before and the course handled it well. The green are looking better than last year although growing back after being punched three weeks ago.

Traps were in better shape but with the kind of “sand” they are using these days, it does not stand up well to wetness. Really disappointed in the type of sand they are using these days. It appears to be more like dirt than sand and it is not very fluffy, especially after a rain.

Pace: can be slow, and I have never seen a ranger come out to address slow play.

Conditions: tees and fairways were great. Greens still recovering from aeration. Bunkers were inconsistent, so we started playing them as GUR. Some were hard at the bottom.

Staff: excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. On a Wednesday the cart girl came by at least 4 times.

Value: very fair weekday walking rates.

Layout: one of my favorite. Long from the blue tees, so try the white tees. 17 and 18 are great finishing holes.

Other than recently airrated greens all good only affected slower downhill putts. Great place to play. Been going there for years. Good pace, friendly staff

The course itself played pretty tough, and was in good condition. If I were able to come out during the week when less people were on the course, I think I would enjoy it a lot more. However, I played on a Saturday afternoon behind a foursome that was more concerned with chugging beers on the tee box than keeping up with the group in front of them. No marshalls ever spotted on the course to speed up play either. Pretty unacceptable to play 18 holes in just under 6 hours...

Used to be a premier course. A lot of bad spots and diseased grass. Maybe a $45-50 course. Super sad for what was a gem.

A hidden gem in Chicago’s southwest suburbs at a very reasonable price. If you love playing golf in a rich setting with nature then this one will fit the bill. Well manicured with challenging sand and water hazards. This course is a must play!

We booked a deal time but there was no aerification alert on that confirmation nor on any course times. Greens have just been punched and are in rough shape. I would stay away for at least two weeks. Otherwise, course was in good shape. Operator should do a better job of alerting customers of aerification.

Really nice course layout, very challenging with a lot of bunkers and tough pin placement, but the conditions are generally very good. Greens were recently aerated so really tough. Lots of wildlife, including deer and coyotes, which is fun to see. Biggest problem is that they really pack people in and pace of play can get pretty slow.
