Great course in need of $ for upkeep
Still one off the best layouts in the area, but overall conditions are slowly slipping. Each time I’ve played here over the past several years has been slightly worse than the previous. Bunkers need upkeep. Several bald spots and potholes on many fairways. There was an outright excavation going on in the middle of a fairway. Collars around many greens have crabgrass issues, but the greens themselves were fine. An outing ahead of us made for a 5+ hour round and there was no marshall to keep things moving. There once were 4 groups on a par 5 hole. It’d be a shame if this great track deteriorates further.
Great course for the value
Would definitely come back. Was a fun course, was really challenging with the bunker placement(which were maintained really well) and water. The pace of play was kind of slow but it was a twilight so I understand. Overall highly recommend
Overpriced muni
Great layout. Every hole fun to play. Cart paths are worn out. Nobody fixes hallmarks Had golf now price. Still too high. $45-$55 course
Early tee time helped pace of play
Great course, very good condition, pace of play helped by early tee time. 4 hours spot on, but probably not mid morning.
Top public course in the area for sure
If u want a challenge, play this course very difficult from any color Tees especially the tips plays 7400 to 7600 I believe
Not for me i play blues my best round ever 84 definitely a lot of course for the $$$$ u will use every club in your bag 11 par 5 will take a bite out of u and 17 par 3 whatch out.... I will be back G Dunne I will be back!!
Big Boy Course
7300 yards par 72. Challenging championship caliber layout with water in play on at least 8 holes. Requires every club in the bag. Forest preserve course managed by Billy Casper. No issues at all with staff who were friendly. Conditions were very good though greens a bit slow. Fairways in very good shape. Rough was penal but fair. Nice warmup area. Great PUBLIC facility! I’ll be back...
Wow Dunn needs a face lift
Terrible greens, terrible fairways, terrible bunkers, awful conditions but a great track! That’s too bad the place is falling apart! Better value elsewhere guys!

course was in bad shape fairways in really bad shape greens in ok condition .
Always love this course
Course was a little wet, but we had a bunch of rain on August first and second. It was a little wet it low spots, bunkers had some standing water. Greens were in excellent shape and so were the fairways and tee boxes. I always enjoy shooting here. It's a great, long, challenging course. I've been shooting here for over a decade and it's always in good condition.
