George W Dunne National Golf Course

This course could be one of the best in the area, instead it’s traditionally in terrible shape in regards to drainage.

Sand Traps (unplayable) have been a problem for years if not decades. Standing water in 90% of fairways .

Not going to fool me again. Never coming back!

This is a great course with a challenging layout and difficult greens. The pin locations are also fairly challenging, often near the perimeter of the green and protected by sand or water. In any case, it is a fun course to play. The greens rolled well, tee boxes were in great condition. Fairways had some spots that were a bit beat up and a few spots of standing water. Also, since it had rained the night before the bunkers were like hitting off of pavement and a few had standing water. But for the price definitely can't complain for the overall quality of the course. Nice pace too, walked with 3 in about 3:45

A tragedy with all the money spent over past 10 years to witness the condition of this course.. This reminds me of 2004/06 days where people would walk off the course after playing first hole to request their money back.

"Pot holes" in fairways........greens don't even look like they are being watered. The worst are the many sand traps having six/eight inch weeds growing through them after they spent the past eight years re doing most of the sand traps. They filled in sand traps on 16th hole and did a POOR job of seeding over so its very obvious there were sand traps there at one point.

Just an absolute shame to see how the condition of the course has deteriorated in a short time. Probably Pandemic related with giving adequate maintenance.

I would only play again for $20.

Good value for the price paid but for a few more bucks, course could be in much better shape.

Challenging course in great shape with some of the prettiest cart girls I've seen. I would highly recommend this course and I like to play it at least twice a month.

Great layout, but a tough place if your missing the fairways.

Greens are in great shape and bunkers are not.

Enjoyed the round, all thr holes were challenging.

cours was nice would be way better if there was sand in the bunkers and if there wasn't so many grounds crew people everywhere doing nothing but getting in the way.

Have always loved playing George Dunne. It's a great Course if you are confident with driver and your wedges. Having a bad day driving at this course could put you in a lot of hard recovery shots. And the bunkers.....oh the bunkers. I would advise to try your absolute hardest to avoid the bunkers at George Dunne as much as you can, they can be a handful. Other then that, the layout is very easy to follow, and the scenery is lovely. Would highly recommend if your looking for a tough challenge with all of your clubs. Would maybe not play here after it rains, the course can get very swampy very quickly.

We played after a heavy rain the night before. While sand traps were still flooded, the rest of this golf course was in excellent condition. Make no mistake about it, this is a truly great championship golf course! Highly recommended!! Can hardly wait to play it again!!!

Great course with a ton of value. There is however a big problem with how jam packed the course is. The pace of play is highly problematic and irresponsible. Raise the price $10 and make tee times every 12 minutes, not every 7.
