Great course in great condition
We played just before 8am and knew it would be Carr path only bc the course had just gotten 2.5 inches of rain in the previous 2 days. We were lucky to even be able to play. Course was very wet but extremely playable and greens were great. Great course. Great Day!
First time player
Course was in excellent condition. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Beer cart came around often. There is a $20 hole in one challenge for the make a wish foundation.

Great staff and challenging layout. Pace of play was great for 8 holes and poor for the last 10 holes.

Challenging course with lots of bunkers and fast greens bring your A game
Great course design
This is a Dick Nugent Design . He did a great job of using the lay of the land and all the lakes. You really have to think you way around this course not just tee shots but second and third shots too. You don't really ever come by another golf hole or fairway you just wind though the forest . I love this course. It is a cook county forest preserve course so they don't have the budget that I would like them too But Billy Casper golf does a great job of management .

Nice course design no 2 holes next to each other. Perfect weather day so course was I great condition
George Dunne does not disapoint
I played this course 3 times in the last 20 years and it continues to be a great and attractive test for golfers of all skills. Very good conditioning and nice to have a beverage cart on a September weekday. I want to play again!
Pace of play is awful.
If you finish in 5 hours consider that a fast round.
I understand the frustration of a long round of golf. We are working hard on keeping the pace of play up so please give us another shot.
Been a long time since I olayed this course
It has been ages since I played here, really didn’t remember it. If it wasn’t for the traps which were flooded, it would have been a great day. Granted there was a bunch of rain the day before. Staff was great, pace of play good too. I will be back!
Nice course needs sand
I play this course at least 10 times a summer.
My only complaint is the sand traps. There is little drainage after rains and very little sand in most of them. There is a fairway trap that has been “ground under repair for at least 3 years. Other than the traps I really enjoy this course.
Long course!
Very pretty long course that is a great deal for the price. Note to course please add more relief stations for a female players.
Great layout
Great staff and layout. Course in terrible shape. Traps should all be blown up. Someone must have left sprinklers on , casual water everywhere, fairways soaked. This is a perfect example of how bad management can ruin a great track.
We are aware the traps can be an issue, especially when there has been substantial rain. We are working hard to improve the conditions every day. Come on out to the course and give us another shot I think you will really enjoy the round
Challenging Course, Enjoyable Day
With the exception of the sand traps, I felt everything about this course was well done.
The generous tiered greens create some tough putts, but are kept in great shape.
The staff was helpful and pleasant, and rangers kept pace of play going.
