About
The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley is tucked away in the Pioneer Valley, an area of western Massachusetts known for its lush, rolling hills. It is a favorite amongst locals since it is one of the best values in the region. The course enjoys scenic views that stretch to Mt. Tom and the Holyoke Range. It is on the shorter side at just over 6,500 yards from the back tees, but the dramatic changes in elevation make it seem much longer. Most of the greens are raised with steeply sloped sides, making accuracy essential since missing them by even just a few feet will result in a serious penalty. The golf course has a heavily wooded front nine that seamlessly transitions into a more open back nine featuring links-style holes. The Ledges is a shotmaker's course that offers several interesting risk-reward opportunities.

Try this course!
Excellent layout, very good conditions, somewhat hilly, with challenging greens. Several very nice doglegs. A nice blend of long holes (#2, #11), with some drivable par 4s (#s 15 and 16). Not overly long, the whites are only 5500 yards, but the doglegs make it challenging. Very nice views! Overall a great public course.
Great course! Just not my style of play.
Course was in great shape considering it was early season and the rain/snow the last few days.
Pace of play was good but definitely slowed with the cart path only rules in place (understandable).
I found this course very challenging with its design. Big dog legs, and blind shots made a very tough course to play for the first time.
Definitely would recommend for other people, just not the style course that I enjoy!

A pleasure to play
Love playing The Ledges! The fairways and greens are always in spectacular condition. It is a very fair course to play for all handicap levels, no crazy layouts, no stupid pin placements!
Of my usual foursome, we are all members at another local course which is conveniently located to our homes and where we play in weekday leagues, but the Ledges is our go-to course for at least one weekend a month.
Keep up the good work. Looking forward to Spring 2021 when we'll be back...often!

Golfing in November!
Another perfect day for golfing. The course was in good shape however the greens were aerated and the putting was a little tough. Any time you can golf in November is a plus.

Great view course.
The view on the 1,10,18 tee is stunning. The course is in good shape, still recovering from aeration on greens, fairways are good.
Some areas are pretty wet, drainage issues , cart path only slows things down a bit.
Overall in good shape, a bit out of the way but worth the drive.
