About
The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley is tucked away in the Pioneer Valley, an area of western Massachusetts known for its lush, rolling hills. It is a favorite amongst locals since it is one of the best values in the region. The course enjoys scenic views that stretch to Mt. Tom and the Holyoke Range. It is on the shorter side at just over 6,500 yards from the back tees, but the dramatic changes in elevation make it seem much longer. Most of the greens are raised with steeply sloped sides, making accuracy essential since missing them by even just a few feet will result in a serious penalty. The golf course has a heavily wooded front nine that seamlessly transitions into a more open back nine featuring links-style holes. The Ledges is a shotmaker's course that offers several interesting risk-reward opportunities.

Beautiful Course
The scenic views at Ledges are perfect. The course is a bit shorter, but great for me. I always love playing here.
Nice course, hard walk.
The course is in very good shape, fairways are carpet like, greens are blotchy, but roll nice, the views are spectacular.
My first time walking this course, it is a long and hard walk, hills. I still enjoyed it as it felt great to be outdoors during this difficult time.
They have some signs out giving direction, they should post NO access to proshop and check in over the phone when you arrive.

Great features , helpful and friendly staff.
The course was in good conditions they just aerated the greens and the rough wasn't overgrown as I have seen at other courses. The pace of play what's good and the members were very friendly. Staff was very helpful and very friendly as well I would recommend playing here to all my friends and family me and even if they're not Avid golfers in the fall it is a beautiful course just due to the foliage that us new englanders are spoiled with.

Great Golf Day
Played Ledges on Saturday with three others. Teed off at 7:30 and were done at 10:30 so pace of play was excellent. Front nine had a lot of doglegs. Some holes were long par 4s but then others were very short. Greens were quick. Overall a challenging course.

Pleasantly surprised
I played this course today after finding it on GolfNow as a Hot Deal. While the blue tees were only 6,110 yards, I found the course layout very interesting and, at times, challenging. It was very thoughtfully designed and it offers a very good risk/reward with relatively small greens guarded by well groomed bunkers. There are two par 4 greens that are reachable with a solid drive. One is guarded by a lake so it is all carry while the other was guarded by three sand traps. Both were too tempting to pass up. I will definitely play this course again the next time I am in the area.

I played in the Safari Group and we had a great time.
THe greans were near perfect and fast. THis is one of my favorite course. the scenic views and the tagert golf.

Just do it
Absolutely gorgeous course with interesting, challenging holes. Played it when I used to work in Brattleboro. Had the opportunity to play it with the Safari. Can't wait to play it again in foliage season. It will be spectacular!

great greens and good food
One of the nicest public courses around with true fast rolling greens. However wish gps was included with round or they marked course better only had one fifty stakes. 19th hole had excellent food as usual will definitely come again.

quick greens
We played the ledges with the Safari Gold Club 100 plus players that speaks for it self bent grass everywhere and the conditions were great .It has a few quirky holes but the conditions are great !!and the staff was very good to us.Smallish dineing area but the food was good and the price was as good. worth a return trip.
