About
The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley is tucked away in the Pioneer Valley, an area of western Massachusetts known for its lush, rolling hills. It is a favorite amongst locals since it is one of the best values in the region. The course enjoys scenic views that stretch to Mt. Tom and the Holyoke Range. It is on the shorter side at just over 6,500 yards from the back tees, but the dramatic changes in elevation make it seem much longer. Most of the greens are raised with steeply sloped sides, making accuracy essential since missing them by even just a few feet will result in a serious penalty. The golf course has a heavily wooded front nine that seamlessly transitions into a more open back nine featuring links-style holes. The Ledges is a shotmaker's course that offers several interesting risk-reward opportunities.

Great value for the money
Was in great shape despite all the rain this year so far. New GPS touch screens in the carts was a pleasant surprise. Will be back really enjoy this course. It’s worth the drive.
This a great course to play. They recently got new golf carts that have gps units in them that shows the layout of the hole you are playing, and they also play music. With all the rain some spots are a little soggy but overall a great fun course.

This course is in fantastic condition right now. A little spongy in spots and it’s currently cart-path-only (and should be right now with the amount of rain we’ve seen).
Staff was super friendly and accommodating also (this has not always been the case in the past.)

Fun course
I drive over an hour to play this course a few times a year because I really enjoy it. It’s got a great layout and every hole is different.

Aerated greens no discount
Should have been informed that the greens were aerated. Paying full price was a rip off. Would recommend waiting a bit before playing there let greens fill out.

Best fairways in western Mass
The fairway grass at Ledges is superior to any course in western mass. The grass is so fluffy. You never get a bad lie, and it’s so easy to hit off of.

A must play
Terrific course conditions and a great layout! Very helpful and congenial staff. Great views too of the Pioneer Valley...worth the drive from anywhere.
Course was in great shape but it was a verry slow round
Excellent Course
Played this on 8/15 with the Safari Club. Course was in great condition. We were treated very well by the staff from the time we arrived until after golf in the grill room. Great value for the $$.
Safari to the Ledges
Always a pleasure playing this course because of the challenges of the holes...Greens were in great shape but it was cart path only at no fault of the the course but of the heavy rains we have had this summer...Will definitely come back again to play this one

This is another hidden Jem with great conditions from tee to green .The views are wonderful .
The staff was very friendly.
This a must play ,and when you do you will want to come back.
Great Conditioned Course
Played the course today with the Safari Club. Course was in superb condition throughout. Greens putted true on all holes. The staff from the Director of Operations to the kitchen staff was as good as or better than the course.
NICE course with wide fairways and scenic setting. Friendly staff and players provided excellent day of golf.
