Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Why did GolfNow have high reviews
Ok, I’m a 10 handicap. I play a lot but at 60 years old and playing from the blues on this course I was definitely not impressed. Let’s start with pace of play. I was the 7:40am group. Paired with three 25-30 year olds. They didn’t really know how to play the game. No etiquette at all and they each lost a dozen balls. That said we were still right behind the group in front of us. The round was 4:45 long!!! You have got to be kidding me! No wonder people are frustrated here. They guys I played with were nice and fun but it did make concentration a little difficult.
The fairways were in decent condition but some of them are super gimmicky. One par five is literally a giant letter S with no way of hitting to the green in two if you are a long ball hitter.
The greens. OMG I’ve never seen anything this bad. Massive damage to several of them. No way you would make a putt. On three greens we made an agreement the most you get is a two putt no matter what.
The carts. Literally trash. Broken parts and two GPS systems not working. One tire was so flat we had to get a cart replaced on the seventh hole.
Cart girl? Yep. Anything on the cart? Barely anything at all. Fireball shots and warm beer. We had to send her back for water and no coffee that early!!? Wow. No snacks at all.
GolfNow does the booking so you pay at the course so be aware of that. All in all I would never play this dog track again.
Sloooow play twice
Let groups in between at the half turn, let a 6m in front of us at turn. 2nd game, ladies washroom had no towel
Bloomingdale could use some work
They are charging regular winter rates but the overall condition of the greens is not good. There are a couple of greens that are in terrible shape. For the money, we should have played somewhere else.
Busy! Close Tee Times and Players jumping in
It’s always busy there but when there isn’t anyone watching the tee box at 1, you’ll have several folks just decide to jump in at 1 or 10….not to mention groups that just merge together and play 6-8 folks per box.
Best I’ve Seen it.
Course was a little busy. We had to wait about 15 minutes to tee off after our tee time. I’m not too bothered by that but we did keep catching up to the party in front of us, and we’re no pro’s. I hadn’t played this course in a long time but from what I remember, it wasn’t as nice as it is now. I will definitely play it again.
Worst Golf Experience Of My Entire Life
If I could give this course 0 stars I would. This was hands down the worst golf experience of my life. We had a 10:30 tee time and had to wait until 11:15 to tee off. The course was overbooked and they were still letting people show up and walk on in front of us. It took us 3.5 hours to get through 6 holes. Walked off the course and asked for a refund and the proshop manager accused us of slowing his course down even though we were waiting for 15 minutes on every tee box, with multiple groups in front of us on each hole. Zero accountability for overbooking the course. $75 tee time and got 6 holes in 3.5 hours. I will never go back to this course and will make sure everyone I know does the same.
4 hours to play 12 holes is ridiculous. Very slow play no one was out there pushing the pace of play.

Very slow play. Was actually letting groups form together and play as 5somes or 6someses. Very disappointed.
Miserable Pace of Play Solid Course
As the title says, the absolute worst pace of play I've ever experienced. I understand it is a public course during the winter in Florida, but this is terrible. We played one single hole and waited 10 minutes if not more on every single tee box. Completely overbooked, and no marshal in sight anywhere aside from the clubhouse before you jump onto the first tee. The course was in decent shape, but nowhere near that price range especially considering the pace of play, which is consistently like this according to others.
Would not recommend weekend, in season play. I have never seen a golf course so full. There was no room on range, chipping area, or putting area to even warm up due to the 20-30 people there. I am probably under estimating that. Tee times are so close together you might as well ride in the basket of the cart in front of you. Start was so disorganized. Pace of play was terrible due to how slam packed the place was and the fact no ranger was on course.
I’ve played this course a few times during the weekdays and during summer. Definitely won’t go on the weekend ever again. If you see 8-10 minute gaps on Golf now for tee times, they are probably cramming three foursomes in between those times so be warned.
Not bad, Not Great
There was no Marshall keeping pace of play up, took us 3 hours to play 9 holes with a foursome. When we hit the turn we skipped the group in front of us and finished the other 9 in an hour and a half. Made it a 5 hour round. Greens awful, had divots on them, sand craters, impossible to putt on half of the greens. Staff was friendly, place was clean, layout was challenging but the pace of play and half the greens not being playable made it a bad experience for us.
Don't play here
The course was overbooked, and 2-somes and singles were jammed in between, many walked off. Perfect place if you enjoy waiting for every shot and close to a 6 hour round
Greens need some work
Love the challenge of the course. The greens need a bit of attention , too much sand on all of them. Pace was a little slow due to a family out for fun hitting or should I say missing most of the shots and only going about 30 yards. Thanks goodness they stopped to eat at the turn.

Fairways were not to bad but as for the greens for the most part they’re in terrible shape. I’ve been playing this course for over 30 years off and on and have never seen the greens in a worse condition. Especially several on the back nine that were almost unplayable if you were trying to score well.
