The stunning fourth. Tricky, strategic and exhilarating. Yet fatal on the left side. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eight. Bold 3-par of 204. You’ll need a fine tee shot to keep the wolf at the door. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eleven. Solid tee-to-green test. Hitting and putting this green are the keys. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Thirteen: Wedging into a green pared down to essentials: a frontal bunker, a narrowing surface, then a big backside falloff. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Sixteen. Dr. Hurdzan’s greens resemble those of Donald Ross: crafted, meticulous, well-contoured. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eighteen. #2 index. Problems galore. As at all par-5’s here, playing the angles well may save you from disaster. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Does not acknowledge COVID
The course forces two per cart and denies the existence of Covid. Very rude staff and I don’t think I will be playing here anytime soon. Much better courses in the area
Wow! The Course Has Held Up This Year
First time playing this year, although I typically play it several times a year (about 1 hr 20 min drive). I really like this course...it's very challenging, with no flat lies any place. This course is in exceptional condition--considering all the rain and hot temps, they have done an excellent job maintaining this course. The fairways are green and lush, and very few thin or dirt spots (and those were mostly on the edges). The bunkers had nice fluffy sand in them. And, the greens were smooth and fast. I have been putting on so many aerated and sanded greens, I could barely putt on these--blew putts right past the hole! But, it was a sheer pleasure playing on greens this nice. The entire course was beautifully manicured with accents of flowers, blooming bushes, and high grasses framing the fairways and greens. This course is not easy as there are so many elevation changes, blind spots, and sloped fairways. The greens run the gamut--large and undulating, or small and narrow. But, in either case, they are going to run, so be cautious. And, many greens have tiered greens and slopes off the back. This course requires you to think you're way around it. It's a fun and beautiful course. Kudos to the Super, and thanks to a welcoming staff.
Nice surprise
I was pleasantly surprised by many things at Pilgrim’s Oak. As I checked in, there was no evil eye for using GolfNow and they let me go out right away as a single. The tees and fairways were well maintained. Some better than others. Greens were questionable but rolled surprisingly well. Overall the layout has some quirks due to elevation changes, but there are a good half dozen memorable holes. The middle par threes are intimidating from the back tees. Some blind shots, but nothing unfair. Overall a great value. I’ll be adding this into the rotation of courses I play regularly.
Love this course
My favorite course - beautiful surroundings and always in great shape. Challenging but fair. Would highly recommend to anyone!
A Hidden Gem
Extraordinary value at this well kept course. Has held up well to the hot summer and staff has shown immediate attention where needed. on some tee boxes. Pace of play today was aweful but it's usually good. Interesting layout with lots of elevation changes. I've played some of the worlds most beautiful courses otherwise this is a five star and one of the best courses in the region.
Nice challenging course
Nice course, very well maintained with nice greens and fairways. Always enjoy coming here
Back from Florida
Family played today. All loved the course. Tee boxes are hurting. What’s up with that. I will be back but put some turf on tee boxes. Aeration is not enough.
Hidden Gem, Extraordinary alue
Beautiful course in the middle of Amish country. Interesting layout, beautiful panoramas, mostly wide fairways, good mix of lengths. Greens in great condition, tee boxes suffering from summer heat but still acceptable. This is clearly one of the best courses I play in PA and worth the drive.
Never Disappointed
What can I say. This course is beautiful and playable. It challenges you as well. Buy overall it's very good course.
Pilgrim's Oak Review
The course has a layout that is challenging for the better golfer and forgiving for the less skilled. Each hole has a unique design and the challenges vary. Some holes challenge the player with length, others elevation changes, and still others with strategic bunkering and mounding. The greens were perfect. The views were spectacular and the hilly terrain meant there was a cooling breeze all day long. This course is truly a hidden gem.
Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
Despite the website saying that, they were not accommodating in providing me a cart as a single. They had plenty of extra carts as well. I was forced to walk the course, and also was not provided a refund for the cart. I ended up getting heat exhaustion on the front 9 and was unable to finish the round.
