Good Value for the Money
Great value. Course was damp due to recent rains but was in great condition. Played from the tips and course plays long and. Halle going. Layout is very good
Greens are back!
It took a while but the greens are back! Can't say it's a complete 180 but they are so much better! Now I can invite my out of town guests back without shame and riducule. Great job SB staff!

Smaller greens over and over every year
Who decides that the greens aren't the right size, the fill in greens person. Seven greens have approximately 2 feet wide white lines all the way around them. In the past when you see that they are making the greens smaller.. With approximately 180 to 200 linear feet around a green. That's a minimum of 360 square feet of lost green x 7 greens is 2520 square feet of lost greens in the past 7 years this happens way to much. What's happening at this Championship golf course that they refer to. When are any kind of improvements going to happen. All we get is that's good enough.

Not so good greens
Greens have alot of areas that looks like the grass has been over treated with fertilizer or weed killer. there are low areas that water puddles up and that rots out the grass.This is ongoing. Can those spots be repaired. Doesn't seem like they even try.. the only fix is when they continue to make the greens smaller.

Stonebridge in Gretna La
Great course for the price. Friendly staff. Good drinks and food. Pace was great despite being crowded. Fairways in great condition and greens weee in pretty good shape.

The condition of the greens has significantly improved since I played here last, 2 months ago. They aren't good, but not horrible. Fairways are good. The teeboxes are spotty. Alyssa working at the bar was friendly and helpful. If you get a Hot deals, it is worth playing but not at full price.

Grab grass
Well after 5 months of perlana grass, now the greens are covered with what looks like crab weeds. Wow what is going on. This place is getting worse day by day. Some one needs to really get this golf course back on track. The cart path on 10 will eventually fall into the pond. That will be on the managers from not proactively taking care of the cart path. They will wait until it erodes, then spent thousands of dollars to totally fix it. Proper shoring can fix it and not a 2x6 board. Wow, wow

Great Course
Clubhouse has been modified and is a welcoming and easy to navigate place.
Check -in was quick and we were able to get off almost immediately.
With holiday golfers out, pace was fairly well maintained.
This is a great place to play golf.

Bad management
Greens are shaping up a little. But is seems like they don't think the greens are an important part of golfing. Can't grow grass. Bad Spots and low areas where the water puddles up and kill the grass. Some Spots have been like that for years.Pretty easy fix. But they will not fix them. Usually they make the greens smaller. Bad management

Horrible greens
Greens are horrible, having to deal with the weeds on the greens. They don't even gut them to try to make them better. Weed are way to long. Acceptance level of supintendent is horrible. They never finish up anything that was started. Like the cart path going to the practice range. And holes dug all over the place.

Do not pay money to play here
This is my second time playing this course. The first was 4 years ago and I remember it being a solid place to play. Fast forward to today. Our first warning should have been an almost empty parking lot on prime Saturday tee times. The second should have been the starter saying " our greens are horrible". The tee boxes are over grown which we could deal with. The greens are almost all completely dead and just dirt. The areas that have grass are so bumpy its like playing bumper putting. On the plus side pace of play was under 3 hours because we were the only people out there. I have played courses all over the country and in all conditions and have never left a review. This course should be ashamed to be open and charging $70 green fees.
